I love whenever pros of games make and play rom hacks because it’ll always be like the hardest thing anyone has ever seen and the hack will be rated a 2/10 in terms of difficulty. Reminds me of a quote (I think from a SimpleFlips clip?) regarding Mario 64 hacks where an experienced player makes a hack for beginners and everyone goes “Yeah, this is pretty reasonable” and then they poll the casual players and they just go “I can’t do a wall kick, you’re asking too much of me.”

I found this channel after watching every Summoning Salt video he has. As long as they are made like this, normal good commentary and I am on board. As with the games I love watching history of speedruns even of games I don’t like to play. I don’t play many platformers like this but really fun to watch. The best part about them are when you can’t skip or glitch your way through. So that beginning comment about speedrunning this being a poor choice I completely disagree with. I enjoy the longer videos.

They work like Mario 64 slopes, kinda. M64 slopes are janky. It makes sense that the jank would transfer over to Mario Kart. Play around with slopes, clips, try old school zips (maybe, plausible). I dont have this game otherwise i would love to indulge in breaking this game. Kinda like the lock picking lawyer guy, i rather enjoy picking games apart using various knowledge and techniques acquired over time.

I remember getting this game for my 7th birthday. It has always been the epitome of creative Mario design to me, and represents just how creative Nintendo is capable of being. Loved the video and I can't wait to see how the speed game will improve in years to come.

I can only imagine what the story behind this game is because of how god hand is treated by the game. The developers expected and downright challenged players to go for the ultimate god hand run, I won't call it insane but it's a stretch for sure. There's a non-zero chance the developers were mega-fans of, or even the minds behind that cosmo gang puzzle game
