I've made the one-pan baked oats twice. Delicious! I used cardamom and blueberries for the first time. I traded the cardamom with nutmeg the second time and used two diced granny smith apples. It was like a healthy apple pie. Thanks for your videos and recipes, @fitfoodieselma! Love from Texas!

4:24 simple pizza recipe for meal prepping. 2:05 simple Greek salad, with cooking time for the chickpeas. You can prepare a bigger batch of the chickpeas and dressing to use for a few days.

100g of protein but how many calories?
@leapjumpsoar804911 ай бұрын
she doesn’t post calories since they can be triggering - you could use a website though and enter the ingredients ❤
@kittster278511 ай бұрын
@@leapjumpsoar8049 it was more of rhetorical question but if you’re having to consume over 2500 calories to get 100g of protein that’s not going to work for most women. It’s also important to look at the other macros which she never shares.
@ivethgiselle464511 ай бұрын
She shares her goal is to build muscle, not lose weight. If someone is looking to lose weight they'll need to track and focus mostly on calories. She just doesn't
@kittster278511 ай бұрын
@@ivethgiselle4645 That's fine but only sharing the details of one macro doesn't give people the full picture. If she wants these recipes to be accessible and adaptable to a wide audience, she needs to provide the full nutritional profile.

Hello nutritionist here. You definitely want to pay attention to the macronutrients more than the calories cause they can be quite misleading. Depending of course on the person's choice let me tell you 2000 is way more common for a woman to eat rather than famous 1300 calories you'll see everywhere. Again, it depends on the person and you dont have to eat 100grs of protein but its better to track macros over calories ❤️

@elifeanor Жыл бұрын
i love your recipes, but please do a little more research about nutrition!! it is not all about getting as much protein as possible!
@jessicafrench2766 Жыл бұрын
Getting more protein helps with feeling satiated and protein is necessary for not just muscle but so many functions in the body. There’s really no downside to getting more protein, though there are diminishing returns after you get above a certain amount. Still, 100 g of protein is a completely reasonable daily goal for most people. Keep in mind too she has IBS so she is limited on types of foods she can eat. Even then I think she shows a variety of vegetables and other foods which cover the bases in terms of nutrients. I’ve never felt that she emphasizes protein above all else. I think her meal ideas look very balanced.
@emmakaisa27 Жыл бұрын
I know a fair bit about nutrition and after watching multiple of her videos her diet seems very balanced. 100 grams of protein is also very easy to achieve if you eat some protein with every meal (as you should). I'm from Finland like her and we have lots of nutrious products for fairly cheap in our grocery stores
@pez173411 ай бұрын
How is it that Finland has rlthese healthy items for reasonable prices? Healthy itmes are very expensive where I live. If you are able to, can you give me an idea of how much money in us dollars will these ingredients cost on total?
@emmakaisa2711 ай бұрын
@@pez1734 I'm not that educated on economics so I can't really say why, our food prices have been steadily increasing especially after the pandemic hit but what I've seen on the internet it still seems to be more cheap than in the USA for example. Although I think if you cook in bulk then it might still be cheaper than eating outside the home in the USA. I don't really know what these ingredients would cost in US dollars but I would still encourage you to cook your own food rather than ordering food. There are plently of recipes for cheap and healthy homemade meals on youtube, you should check them out
