Also the oozes at Rainbow Woods can't hit if you are flying. A pair of Anti-gravity Boots make the trip way safer.

I'm loving this series. After watching since episode 1, and few other episodes of your other adventures, my experience with Qud has increased significantly. Too bad my first attempt at Golgatha was for naught.

Ah, the first Golgoth run, a right of passage. I think everyone's first Golgotha run is for naught, but it's a memorable occasion! My first time making a really good character ended at Golgotha. Used a jackhammer to discover the back door. Thought that was pretty clever. Jumped down the hole. Well, it was a fun ride.

Started watching your channel with 1.0 (like many people, I'm sure) and I'm loving this series. This and some of your other Qud videos got me going enough to get out of the Joppa region for the first time, after years of owning the game. Made it all the way to collecting parts for a certain construction project, before I was obliterated in the Moon Stair. :) Looking forward to the next one. Also, baboons are monkeys!

Loving this series, have been learning a lot as I get into the game myself and you have a very entertaining style along with good knowledge of the game. I have only made it to Bethesda Susa so far in about 60 hours of playing but loving every minute except when I encounter a thirst thistle. My most successful run was actually more or less copying this build and I agree on the photosynthetic green skin being super hard to see, I was constantly losing track of myself and was glad when I changed it. Btw I kinda like the shopping segments, it's fun seeing what nice gear they have Keep up the good work, Live and drink

Don't forget to autoexplore the 8 screens around the Yd Freehold (with your speed on Infinite) whenever you visit. You'll usually get one free Sunslag. Sometimes you get none, though. One time I got 3! The polyps regenerate relatively quickly. I believe you still need at least 6 of them. That was a pretty brutal attack on Grit Gate. Doesn't help that the Barathrumites went ham on the holograms. Don't worry about the Drops of Nectar. It's a sequence and every attempt gets you one closer to the next success. The only way to win is to play. +1 to all stats is worth failing on 3 Drops out of 4.

Are you sure the palladium struts regenerate?? I never noticed them doing that!

@@Rogue_RatThe struts don't, but the polyps do! Quite quickly, too. If you spend a week away from the Freehold, it's probably all going to be back. I always get 10 free Sunslags from those screens. There is only one catch: sometimes your character doesn't realize they have regenerated unless you step on one. So if you just come back onto the screen after a week and autoexplore, your character will say there's nothing to explore. Step on a polyp and it'll fix it, the character will rapidly start removing them.

Got a crysteel warhammer in the waterlogged tunnels at lvl5. I’m so sad that run died at golgatha after I got frozen by a Templar knight and beaten to death by slog and him 😭

You can put yuckwheat stems in your Thrown Weapon slot so you know where it is and can eat it when confused to get rid of the confusion

if you havent tried to survive as an op super meta mutant at level 300+ with all mutations, you should make a playthrough and try it. its not what youd expect. its quite crazy

How does the taco work? You bought it for $650, but each merchant you talk to only offers you $385 for it, and when you look in your chest, it says it is worth $350.

The tacos are weightless scaling trade goods. With high ego you can sell them for quite a bit! That's really all they are. They used to be very common in the late game, up until the spring molting update, at which point they were either made way more rare, or the loot table they exist within had other items bumped to the top of it.
