House Party was all about C*VID, to encourage people to follow the rules and be considerate of each other, because we're all in this together, let's try and make fun out of a bad situation. The break down in the middle with the rapping is like what happens when you break the rules, you affect everybody else not just yourself, you need to take responsibility for your actions. I think the sniper was supposed to represent how a chain reaction can happen from the person who broke the rules to the person who suffers bad symptoms and doesn't make it, it's like it came out of nowhere? At least thats what i took from it. Also I only knew a few Suju songs when this came out, and only really knew Heechul from Knowing Bros, so I had a shock when he started rapping 😂

Okay now that I am done watching the video here's a more in depth comment 🤣 basically, House Party is a song about Covid and the Pandemic. In the song they reminded us to adhere to proper health protocols and support one another until this is all over and everything is back to normal again. In the music video, they were reprimanding Donghae (the guy in the pink jacket) for being selfish as he violated the rules which resulted to case surges. The switch up had two goals you could say, the first is to incorporate trendy music into their song so it's more modern and the second is in that part of the mv, they were visibly more strict in expressing how serious covid is and how our actions can actually harm other people. The rest of the song is them encouraging other people and telling us that we can get through this. Burn The Floor was labeled Album #2 because the first one was the Raining Spells of Love it's a remake version of their song from their 7th album Mamacita. RSPL is a fan favorite and for their 15th anniversary, they had a voting event as to which older suju song we would like them to remake. Even though I have been a fan for over 10 years, I agree with you when you said your previous suju reactions were hit or miss in terms of TITLE TRACKS. Prior to their biggest breakthrough song Sorry Sorry, they already have great songs (both title tracks and b-sides song) it's just that, after sorry sorry, they stuck with that formula as they want to keep the momentum alive hence songs like Bonamana, Mr. Simple, and Sexy free and single were chosen for their title tracks but after their hiatus (due to their leader's military enlistment after sexy free and single, they focused on subunit activities) their title tracks changed. I mean, you could still definitely see and hear the what we call SUJU Flavor 😂 it's just that what they had before they combined it with new colors. But in terms of B-SIDES, Super Junior never disappoints especially with their slower songs. As you've mentioned or watched in your latest suju reaction, they have really strong vocals and tbh over the years, they've all grown so well to the point where even the main rappers can be a lead or even a main vocal if they were to join other groups. Basically, Super Junior is really great at putting up a good show. (that's why their concerts are called Super Show lol) They're not just really skilled and well-seasoned but they're also good at connecting with the audience fan or no fan. If you're planning to watch or check out their live performances, i highly recommend these channels: teukienickie, - llyessungll - and foreverkry. They pretty much have all of Suju's live performances. And most of them have captions too! And if you're looking for a good Super Junior Guide I recommend this channel: luxerit Majority of the members have multiple solo/subunit releases so you will have a lot of fun unraveling all of them. You will never run out of Suju content I swear! Even I haven't watched all of their tv guesting despite being a fan for a really long time. 🤣 Anyway, I'm rambling lol. 2:14 is Donghae. I recommend you checking out 'one more chance' by Suju, Donghae produced the song. 5:04 is Ryowook. One of Suju's main vocals. You've seen him before when you reacted to D.O. singing videos, they sang a song together on a radioshow called 'missing you'. 19:02 is Yesung (means artistic voice in Korean), he's also one of the main vocals. I also really recommend Super Junior K.R.Y songs. That's the main vocal subunit. One of my favorite performances by them is of their song 'Dorothy' during their Seoul concert. That video has English captions so it'd perfect to check out!

Super Junior know exactly what they are doing with "2Ya2Yao". They haven't been in the business for this long without knowing how to continuously remake their style and sound to keep themselves relevant and fresh. That is why even after more than 16 years they still dominate in everything they do. The No. 2 in Korean is pronounced like ee or Ay so, the title is pronounced Ay-Ya-Ay-Ya-O -- similar to Old MacDonald Had a Farm -- E I E I O. "2Ya2Yao" was a collaboration between SJ and Zico, who is a solo hip-hop artist and producer, as well as a member of the Kpop boy group Block B. Zico produced this song, and Eunhyuk (the first one you see in the MV -- who is the main rapper and main dancer) and Shindong (the one who says "Hit Me" -- but it's not just his voice, I think it has a little bit of computer alteration on it to make it slightly deeper) directed and produced the MV. Shindong has his own video production company and he is quickly becoming well known for his directing and video editing skills. Both Eunhyuk and Shindong are rappers, dancers and singers of SuJu. And, as the main dancer, Eunhyuk choreographed or helped choreograph the dance. Eunhyuk and Shindong are also often the ones that produce Super Junior's concerts. "2Ya2Yao" is much more hip-hop heavy then a lot of Super Junior's songs. Zico said he wanted to create a song for Super Junior that used the same sound and style that all the younger groups were using as a way to showcase Super Junior's talents and to prove why they are still leaders in the industry. If you want to see the choreography for "2Ya2Yao" better, you should check out the performance version of the song. Their previous album Time Slip is their 9th full length album, and this repackaged album Timeless (which "2Ya2Yao" is on), adds 4 new songs to the mix. (The now have 10 full length albums) Their discography also includes a multitude of mini albums. Plus, they have 5 sub-units -- Super Junior-K.R.Y. (made up of Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung -- SJ's main vocalists), Super Junior-D & E (made up of Donghae and Eunhyuk), Super Junior-T (Trot -- which is like a cross between the equivalent of western old-style country music and cabaret music. It's older-style Korean pop music that's all about being kind of cheesy, fun and over the top.), Super Junior-M (Mandarin Chinese) and Super Junior-H (Happy). And they currently have 12 members in total, and most of them also have solo tracks and albums. So yes, they have plenty of songs to check out, as well as numerous live performances and concert footage. Super Junior was the first group to ever hold 100 concerts back in 2014, and there have been dozens more since then. So, I don't think you will run out of Super Junior things to watch for a very long time. LOL So yes, they have plenty of songs to check out, as well as numerous live performances and concert footage. I guarantee that Super Junior has done pretty much every type of music in their career -- from hard core rock with songs like "Don't Don" to cute and funny like "Cooking Cooking" by Super Junior-H. Whatever style you are in the mood for, you can find a SuJu song that fits that genre. As you might have noticed, Super Junior is known for their vocals and for their dancing. As an SM Entertainment group it's really no surprise that the members are all amazing vocalists and dancers because that's just a fact about the type of people that SM selects to be a part of its company. SM has become known for the vocal powerhouse of the industry for a reason and that is why it's one of the big 3 entertainment companies in Korea and around the world. Super Junior has 3 main/lead rappers -- Eunhyuk, Shindong and Heechul -- but they are all amazing singers as well. SJ's rappers are such good singers that they have even been known to fill in for the main signers on occasion. There were 9 members in "2Ya2Yao", but if you watch a live performance you will see only 8 members. Their member Heechul -- who is one of the oldest members of Super Junior -- didn't participate in this song because he is no longer able to travel on long flights overseas -- due to issues caused from a car accident where he shattered his leg back in 2006. (He is however present in the MV, he just doesn't sing or dance.) So, for this comeback he chose to not be included on this track. He did this so that when the rest of the members go overseas and want to perform this song in concert, etc. they won't have to learn all new parts to cover his parts of the song. Heechul really loves his members and he knows how hard it is when you have to learn a whole new lineup and blocking, etc. every time one of the members is not there. So, he chose to bow out of singing or anything on this track to make promotions for the rest of the members easier.

As you may know, Super Junior are some of the originators of Kpop. They are considered the godfathers of everything that makes Kpop what it is today. "Super Clap" is their lead track from their 9th album, which came out in 2019. This song and MV has a retro vibe and it's the reason why the album is called Time Slip. They also have 4 pre-release songs from this album you should check out -- "Show", "Somebody New", "The Crown" and "I Think I" "I think I" is their second promotional song and MV. The video for "The Crown" says it's a lyric video, but it's different then a normal lyric video -- it's actually an MV that was created for the song that is sort of a behind the scenes of them recording the song and behind the scenes of their photo shoot for this comeback and album, etc.They also have a special "behind the scenes" video for their song "Somebody New" and a special video using footage from their previous concert tour for their song "Show" which are all songs off this album. This "Super Clap" comeback was the first time we finally had all of the members back after serving in the military. Kyuhyun is the maknae of the main group of Super Junior, and his solo dance break at the end of "Super Cap" was a special moment given to him by their choreographer as a celebration for the fact that this was his first comeback after being released from the military. So after almost 9 years, all the members had finally completed their military obligations, and they were coming back as a full group (or as complete of a group as they are able to be at the moment.) So there are 9 members involved in this comeback -- Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. Their most recent concert was SS8. SS is part of SuJu's brand. Plus, you can interpret the SS as they have achieved Super Special ranking in the game -- and in the industry -- because of their legendary status and longevity. SS is their score/rank, not the title of the song. The bubbles are an important part of the storyline. They create CGI bubbles because in the lyrics it says, "every trouble will disappear from your hand, Just pop it like a bubble." (Super Junior-M is Super Junior's Mandarin sub-unit so if you react to them maybe consider reacting to the Chinese/Mandarin versions of the songs because that's the original version.) SJ are legends in the industry and they have paved the way for almost everything you see in the Kpop industry today. They set the standard for how Kpop is promoted around the world. They are also the first group to have serious roles in all the other entertainment industries -- setting the standard on how a Kpop star branches out into all parts of the industry. They are not only singers and dancers but members are musicians, composers, songwriters, lyricists, music and video producers, TV and movie actors, stage actors, models, radio DJs/ hosts, variety show hosts/MCs, authors, etc. Pretty much anything we think of as a standard part of the Kpop industry was created because of them. They were the first Kpop group to have non-Korean members, the first group to have dedicated sub-units and the first Kpop group to have a sub-unit that focused on producing songs in Mandarin for the Chinese audience.

The thing about Super Junior is that they're all so talented and charismatic, any of them is capable of grabbing the focus at any point. No matter who your bias in the group is, you never know who's going to come out of left field and wreck you. Eunhyuk though (guy in the red suit in House Party, main rapper and dancer, killer falsetto), is generally regarded as everyone's bias wrecker because he's very, very dangerous lol. You probably need to see the live performance of Rockstar from Super Show 5 in Japan (has to be this one). You may not survive though 😂

Donghae is the one who has a song with Jeno. They're like real father and son, and they're also bike buddies. SuJu is really close with NCT and all SM artists in general. I think it was Siwon who cooked for NCT during holidays in 2020. Also, you gotta check out Burn The Floor and their KRY unit (Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Yesung) vocal kings! Super Junior's "House Party" is one of the biggest quarantine anthems ever produced. All about dreaming of a world where we will someday be able to get back to some of the "normal" things we all miss. LOL But that only will happen if we keep wearing our masks and social distancing. That's SuJu for you, taking a PSA and turning it into a hit song. :D I can't believe that was actually a central theme to the song, and yet it doesn't surprise me either. Fun fact: If you read the words on the top of the cake that Ryeowook brought to the party, it says "Everlasting Friends." E.L.F., or Everlasting Friends, is Super Junior's fandom. Believe it or not, this MV is also tied into SM's Universe and it is connected to EXO's, SuperM's, aespa's, NCT's, etc. storyline. You can see references to this MV in aespa's "aespa 'ep1. Black Mamba' - SM Culture Universe" video. We see the pink planet Siwon is golfing on in aespa's video. Just another example of how everything SM does is connected. And, of course, the vocals are insane, Super Junior is an OG group from SM Entertainment, so you shouldn't expect any less. Plus, Super Junior has the 3 best vocalists -- Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung (The guy at the end with the red hair) -- who make up the sub-unit Super Junior-K.R.Y. Super Junior-K.R.Y. is the industry's very first sub-unit and they are a ballad unit who have an unbelievable vocal range. Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung are the vocal standard in the industry, who set the bar that all other vocalists are measured against. But as an SM group, all the members of Super Junior are amazing singers. The main rapper and main dancer is Eunhyuk whis is the one in the red suit you kept talking about, hence why we say they all are singers. Super Junior knows exactly what they are doing. They haven't been in the industry for this long without being experts at reinventing themselves and coming up with something new and innovative with every comeback. "House Party" is on their 10th full length album Renaissance. This song is part of their 15th anniversary celebration. "Raining Spell for Love" -- a remake of a B-side track from their "Mamacita" album from 2014 -- "Melody" -- their fan tribute song -- and "Burn The Floor" were the first songs released from the album, which were all released several months before "House Party." SuJu are never afraid to experiment with their sound or style and they are known for coming up with original concepts and setting trends. And because the group is so diverse, with so many unique members (at their peak they had 15 members), this allows them to be able to do almost anything. They are the founders of the Hallyu Wave for a reason. There is almost nothing in the Kpop industry that SuJu hasn't had a hand in creating.

Fun fact: The lights you see SuJu using in their "Burn the Floor" performance are the same type of lights Ten from NCT/WayV used in his "New Heroes" MV. And yes, It's a performance video, so it's recorded just like a live performance, without cuts. This song is part of Super Junior's 15th anniversary celebration and 10th full length regular album. So, what you see at the beginning of all of the MVs from this album, is a teaser clip of the previous songs that were released from the album. I'm so glad you came back to Super Junior!! They've changed so much in ten years, and somehow, also not at all. if no one else has mentioned it - the House Party 'Special Video' (House Ver.) is ABSOLUTELY worth watching. It'll give you a pretty solid idea of exactly who these delightful idiots are. I've commented this suggestion before, but I'll leave it here again - Super Junior had a period of time I like to call their "suits era," and it's the period you're missing the most from! I recommend Devil, Black Suit, and This is Love/Evanesce (watch them together in that order!)

Hi Austin! Thank you for reacting to Super Junior! I've been an ELF for more than a decade and I can agree with you at some degree. SJ's title tracks are a hit or miss to me as well. Believe it or not, Burn The Floor and House Party were both a strong contender for their latest comeback, being House Party as the winner (personally, I love Burn The Floor). That's the reason why many fans, including me, love the bsides more. If you have luxurious time, I recommend you to listen to their bsides! But for starters, i'd recommend you to a more latest songs with MV: Somebody New I Think I Crown Raining Spell For Love Super Junior has a wide range of genres in their reportoire. Just like in this reaction, you got go hear hip-hop, funk, trap and musical genre. SJ's musics are unpredictable but always fun and super good! I hope you'll get to know them next. 😀

I am so happy to see you react to more Super Junior! Really, their songs are so good! Yeah, the one who offered a featuring to Jeno is Donghae! Actually Donghae and Jeno have a History together. When Jeno entered SM in 2013, people told Donghae there was a cute little new trainee who looked just like him! So he went to see him out of curiosity and he told him it would be great if he work hard and become an idol so one day they can do things together. Actually, Donghae and Jeno stayed in close contact, Donghae gives some advices to Jeno and they do some activities together like cycling, going out to eat, etc. Personality wise they also share a lot of similarities (is that why both of them are my biases?). Anyway, back to California Love! The song was supposed to be just Donghae first official (and promoted) solo song. But he made it listen to Jenk and asked what he thought about it. Jeno said it was really good so Donghae asked him if he wanted to do one part of them song. This... is just so cute. Their friendship is so cute and I hope, when you will watch the video. You will be able to see the MV, the live performance with a band but also the behind the scene videos. We have the whole process filmed, with Jeno. It's really interesting! Donghae also made a video to explain their friendship too! Also, Jeno... how can I say that, he is a homebody and doesn't go out that much. Basically he is really really close to just his Dream members, Doyoung and Donghae. He mentions Donghae a lot! I am just so glad he got such an amazing hyung to guide him honestly! Yay! I'm glad you liked these. I too love their more "boppy" numbers, though they have some amazing ballads. For some more funky songs, try "Devil," "I think I," "Black Suit," and "One More Time (Orta Vez)." Some unique or powerful sounds come from "Opera" (which may be hard to find) and "The Crown" (Yesung's vocals are STUPID good in this one). For just pure enjoyment of their gorgeous vocals, the Renaissance albums has two beauties: "More Days with You" and the remake of "Raining Spell for Love." The video for the latter on SJ's youtube is a live take, and some of the vocals will blow your mind. Kyuhyun is my bias because his voice is so sultry, but every one of these guys can wreck that bias in a second. They're gorgeous, talented, and really funny (you should see them on variety shows--their personalities are huge, and I really think that's why ELF loves them all).

I found out about Suju from EXO, and I grew to like them and their personalities without even having heard the majority of their songs, the only one I listen to is "I think I" and now Burn the floor is definitely on my faborites list.

As an ELF, one of our biggest prides about these boys is how well they sing, so we like to recommend songs that showcase their vocals as often as possible. So that includes songs like "Sorry Sorry Answer," "Evanesce," "Islands," and many of their live concert performances. They're slower songs, but still amazing. If you like bops to dance to, I highly recommend "It's You," "Mr. Simple," "Devil," and "Black Suit."

All I can say, VOCALS ON POINT I also would like to recommend more ballad songs from them. Maybe you can try reacting to the b-sides from "Mamacita (2014)" album. as far as I remember Mamacita is one of the most critically acclaimed K-pop albums that year.
