Joshua Hernandez a major formula changing Zelda game, a full blown sandbox 3D Mario game, a sequel to one of this gen’s most unique shooters, a brand new IP with amazing character design, ports of two amazing games that deserved more love than the Wii U had to offer, a crazy and unique collaboration between Nintendo and Ubisoft, a proper Xenoblade sequel, and a great fire emblem spin off... yeah I would agree

Andre gave BOTW a "Liked it a lot", not even "Loved." He wouldn't have wanted to give it the "Mind Blowing" score anyway. However, he is a little biased. Mario is his all-time favorite franchise. And platforming is his personal favorite genre. And he has always been only a mildly casual fan of Zelda series.

I'm not sure if I'm going to love this game myself but I totally understand why tons of people will. I personally thought that 3D Mario games got better as they got more linear because I like the platforming in Mario more than the adventuring and I'm also not a fan of how you can just randomly find a moon in a random box. Caliduchey to be fair, most first person shooters are dead as a genre. The only one still getting any love is Overwatch and that's a colorful creative one in comparison. The hyper realistic shooter genre is pretty over for the most part and I see a lot more people enjoying Zelda and Mario again as well as interesting indie games.

yeh there are some optional cappy moves with the joycon like shaking them together for the fidget spinner attack, but yes you can use the pro controller and joycon grip as well

One of the best games I have played in a long time. It's simply stunning! Best Mario game hands down because it has so much to offer like 2d zones, minigames, tons of easter eggs/secrets, and vast detailed worlds to explore. No doubt a 10/10!!! I honestly wasn’t exited for Odyssey. I thought it would be good, maybe even amazing, but it just didn’t grab my attention. I’ve never been a no Mario fan, even thought some of my first games were sunshine and MKDS. This video changed my mind a bit. I’m still not sure I’m gonna but it or not, but this looks intriguing. The way I feel about Odyssey reminds me of how I felt about Breath of the Wild. I wasn’t exited for that game, yet I loved it to pieces. This video really opened my eyes and made me think. Thanks!

Iggy U. Koopa They are both more internally consistent and more developed games. Odyssey has a nebulous structure that feels like Sunshine and 3D World were mixed together. It controls better, but has weaker art direction and design and is generally more technically compromised.

However, the larger structure of this game - and subsequently its critical path - kind of sucks, so I'd highly recommend ignoring any evaluations you may have as you play through and to just collect as much as you can until you hit a wall - then move on. All the worthwhile content is out-of-the-way and will be missed in favor of hyper generic material if you just fulfill the minimum requirements to beat the game. It's an exponentially better experience if you go for the 100%.

Well THAT's a new score I've never seen before! My interpretation of GX's emotion score were always as follows: *Disliked* -> 1/5 *Meh* -> 2/5 *Liked* -> 3/5 *Liked-A-Lot* -> 4/5 *Loved* -> 5/5 So what does "Mind-blowing" mean numerically? Probably *100/5* if I had to guess. lol

Meta Shade he's kind of a contrarian, I usually take his opinions withs a grain of salt. I feel like he'd enjoy a well crafted platformer from the kings of the genre. Especially when it comes to accessibility. If nintendo expects 5 year olds to beat this I'm sure Jim shouldn't have a problem.

According to IGN, Jim apparently gave the game a 7/10. To be honest, I'm fine if he gave it that score, considering at the end of the day, it's his opinion & the game is already getting bombarded with so many 9s & 10s right now, & a score like 7 isn't going to tarnashed the praise the game's getting right now, not to mention a 7 is a pretty decent score for what it is.

I have never seen a mind blowing review from game explain. That alone is mine blowing LOL. I'm so happy this game did good, this was my most anticipated game of the year and God knows I've done everything I can this week to get my college homework done on my house chores out-of-the-way so that I can enjoy three days off of work to do nothing but play Mario odyssey. It's a good time to be alive right now and I'm very very happy to know Mario odyssey has done so well. Can't wait for midnight
