Aww thank you are so kind to say that! These last few months have certainly pushed me out of my comfort zone and forced me to try things I would have never attempted! Of course the perfectionist in me will always miss the pretty video footage, but I keep remembering that it's THE RECIPES that matter and those will always stay high quality lol! :) But I REALLY appreciate the support and words of encouragement. Especially on this video because I wasn't so thrilled with the footage, of course ha!

Beth, I love your recipes. I've made so many of them and it comes out with perfection and I agree about not adding too much sugar to the cream cheese frosting, kind of takes away from the cake itself. Honestly this is why I love your dessert recipes because they aren't overly sweet yet still taste delicious.

He will have some tonight or tomorrow and I brought our neighbor friend's Two large pieces to enjoy and 30 min.cook time was cooked to be very moist ! I kept checking it and 25 min. Thank you! I wish I could say YT/Blogging paid for it lol! Maybe one day as my accounts grow? But this was the result of a 20 year dream we started saving for after we got married. It's been an amazing process to see that "little drops do make a river" and if you just keep squirreling it away and keep your eye on the prize, so much is possible :) And it's an investment project, so we'll need to be able to rent it out when we are not there to pay for the upkeep, but there's lots of demand in the area so fingers crossed!

@@tessroque1954 I would think sour cream would make it too wet. Try softening an 8 oz of block cream cheese to room temp and whipping it with an electric mixer for several minutes. Wait, cream cheese in blocks is ounces in weight, right, not liquid volume?

@ayarahimi97993 жыл бұрын
Hey Beth I just wanted to let you know that flour measurements in grams can be really tricky depending on how you measure flour ( scooping and leveling off or spooning slowly into the cup )
@ayarahimi97993 жыл бұрын
I’ve found that when I use the scooping method your recipes usually turn out better for me so the flour measurements in grams might be off
@EntertainingWithBeth3 жыл бұрын
Yes! I definitely do the scooping, leveling off Method! I use this site for the metric conversions, so wondering it maybe it's not exactly accurate? www.jsward.com/cooking/conversion.shtml
@MD4Christ3 жыл бұрын
Hi Beth, the recipe says 2 1/2 cups of flour and you also say that in your video but when the measurements pop up on your video it only says 2 cups. So just wanted to double check on that. I'm excited about this recipe. I love banana bread and this sounds delicious! Can I double this in a 9 x 13? I agree with the Kitchenaid mixer not reaching the very bottom of the bowl. I typically lift the bowl up while it's on and try to get the bottom of the bowl. (I don't recommend doing that on high but I do it all the time. lol) I have a Bosch mixer on my wish list for my birthday. That mixer looks amazing and will reach the very bottom of the bowl. I'm curious have you ever used one?
@EntertainingWithBeth3 жыл бұрын
I'm so sorry for the confusion it should be 2 1/2 cups! The written recipe in the description and my blog is correct! Sure you could double this recipe for a 9 x 13 pan, no prob :) I haven't tried the Bosch mixer but I'm sure it's great! Bosch is a solid brand :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
