Made this today for my husbands 66th birthday. He loved the Sara Lee frozen banana cakes and ate them for years until they stopped making them. So I’m thrilled to find this recipe!! I like that fact that it’s a small cake and let’s face it the older we get the harder it is to take the “sweeta” calories off our bodies!😂 Thank you Stephanie and I’m glad I found your site!!

I made this cake twice and both times they turned out really nicely! I've watched many tutorials on baking and to me, your KZbin channel is one of the best by far! You are so genuine, honest and generous in sharing all your lovely recipes. I've tried many and they never disappoint! You are so detailed in your explanation which helps an amateur like me to be able to learn and follow the instructions step by step and each time getting very encouraging results! Thank you so much Stephanie. Please keep on making more videos!

The crumb of this cake is feathery soft and extremely moist. Plus, it's not too sweet. Thank you for this recipe. ❤️

I made the whole thing in the food processor and it was great. Creamed the butter and sugar, added the bananas, sour cream and vanilla and pulsed until combined then the dry ingredients until just incorporated. Turned out perfectly. I did do the icing in the stand mixer.

I made your banana bread recipe and it was a hit. It was so good and light and compliments kept pouring in. I gave them your site and told them, only follow this site because Stephanie is accurate, gives the measurements exactly how you would want to know and is perfect to the T. Never wastes and removes all the stuff from the pots till the end, so good to see nothing is wasted.

You are a GENIUS. And it's absolutely true, every recipe in your website is a completely and detailed RECIPE. I Tried your " Coffee Walnut Cake" in cupcake form and it was delicious. Had to make some adjustments cause I'm lactose intolerant, but that didn't stop me from making your incredible recipe.

Such a great cake. I learned a trick to have ripe banana anytime without waiting. Just lay the bananas in baking tray and bake in the preheated oven at 350 F for about 10 minutes or untill the skins bacome black. You’ll have perfect riped banans. I’ve tried this method several times and works very well.

This looks an amazing cake and not the regular dense type of texture usually associated with a banana loaf/bread. Excited to make! As I will not be using cake flour but all purpose flour do I need to beat for one and a half minutes as I don’t want to develop the gluten in the flour and have a tough cake as a result? Your timing of this recipe is perfect for me as I need to use up some sour cream and bananas! Love your demonstrations Stephanie and your website. Your little dog also contributes to the show when there is a sudden bark or sigh! A little film star!!! Keep up the hard work. I, like many, certainly appreciate your enthusiasm along with your recipe tasting at the end of a demonstration and how the goodies have baked. Hope to hear from you very soon. Kindest wishes. Thanks for sharing. 👍🍌💕😋

If you are using all purpose you still need to beat it the same amount.
