You really don't. I absolutely love the big hood scoop on this thing, really sets it off and makes it look like a muscle car (which it is I guess). Interesting tid-bit; the V8 weighs less than the 4cyl as it's an aluminium block, rather than iron!

Lovely to see cars being restored, cared for and still driven. 2 lovely cars lovingly cleaned well done 👏👏 The only thing I can say ( in NO WAY negatively) but I would have used The Leather Repair Company's cleaner as its ready to use and has been specifically designed for all Leather and their conditioners, but in anyway the results speak for themselves.

That's a really good product suggestion! I think if I was doing more of these then I would get some, or the gliptone stuff - I used to use that back in the day. The Garage Therapy one is supposed to be very good as well. With that said, Pol Star is Koch Chemie 's leather cleaner, I just happen to use it as an all over interior cleaner.

I genuinely felt lucky to be working on this. Sometimes it feels like a privilege to be asked, and this was definitely one of those times. I don't get it on new cars as much, but cherished classics, absolutely.

Great Jon Adrian the gloss levels with lustre were impressive I’ve got that on my shelf never used it I’ll try it as soon as possible

Thank you dad! I really like Lustre - it gives the sort of warmth of a wax (due to the fillers) and the longevity (easy for you to say!) of a reasonable sealant. Have you got Jet as well as Lustre?

@PaulDoldenDetails if you don't need the filling ability of Lustre, Jet is definitely better - longer lasting and more hydrophobic, and darkening. You can top lustre with Jet too, but you won't get the longevity of Jet on it's own (obviously). With Lustre I would really interested if you can think of anything that's easier to apply though.

Wow, what a beauty. Definitely going to check out Nova Lustre as I'm after a sealant/filler/lsp, currently trying Stjarnagloss glasyr, which is lovely. Soon to have ADS Hero and DIY Detail rw's, cos why not. Cheers for the video.

You've made some good choices there! I do like Lustre as it's very easy to apply and looks really good, but it's definitely not an essential product, ya know?

Can you comment on the Feynlab Version releases a bit. I read on one of the groups that V2 was complete rubbish and why a quick V3 was soonafter released? For PolStar leather cleaning, have you seen the small pump foamer bottles that some use to dispense PS into? I think that mimics the likes of colourlock in terms of application?

Oh, while I remember could you also explain what brushes you're allowed to use for exterior uses? Do you need to use those really soft make-up type brushes or can you use things like the Valet Pro boars hair ones that I have? Is good practise not to brush them on paint or is that too pedantic (reading lots of conflicting opinions on brushes now confused if I've been doing things wrong). What areas do you use a brush for? Thanks!

Nice video. I really enjoy rinsless wash products personally. Misunderstood. Frankly, i would of gave up on cleaning my car(s) if i didn't find out about rinsless.

I am with you there! This was the perfect opportunity to use them as well. The other aspect of classics is that you don't want to introduce too much water when you can avoid it so there was multiple reasons this was a match made in heaven!

What’s your perspective on the difference between an interior cleaner versus an interior Detailer?

It generally depends how dirty something is really. If it's a light clean every week or two, an interior detailer is fine. If it's more of a deep clean then you really need something with more potent to break down the dirt (as was needed here). You could maintain this with an interior detailer, but you'd want to deep clean that at some point for sure as the residues from the detailer would build up.

I've never used it so I can't pass judgement I'm afraid, I'm not much of a waxed to be honest, I don't enjoy the process.
