Hey yall, i just wanted to point out that those "kydex bits" are actually just regular old spur bits that have been marked up in price. You can pick them up from anywhere that sells regular ol' drill bits. The brad point in the middle allows younto ensure that the middle of your hole is as precisely placed as possible, it keeps the bit from moving from where you want it at all whatsoever when you're starting your hole, and the other 2 points actually cut the material so you get a really nice clean hole. They're actually my go-to bits for 99% of my hole drilling needs because they work fantastic in any kind of MDF, both ply and solid wood, drywall, kydex, etc...pretty much anything thats softer than masonry or hardened steel. I've never tried with thicker aluminum, but honestly i think it might work as long as it wasn't a real small bit (obviously it might not be great for the bit, but I wouldn't be surprised 9f it could pull it off) but it works just fine going through aluminum flashing and whatnot

Great video…suggestion for the kydex sheath. At the top of the sheath (the spine side) mold a slight outward curl. That slight curl gives you a thumb purchase making it easier to pull the knife out with just one hand. Bradford Knives do their kydex sheaths this way. I carry horizontal and can use just one hand to pull the knife without tugging my pants around my waist! LOL
