The 1000ml bottle (~2lbs) is $36. Sea Lab is $26 for 2lbs of the bricks. The liquid in my opinion is just easier to dial in a dose and for a tank of my size it'll last 200 days or more depending on how often I need to dose.

It wouldn't be good in a ATO, it would get diluted or it would over dose elements.

​@@andrewlindell8626with kalk you have to dose a lot more and magnesium. Plus it doesn't have trace elements. It's messy too. Tropic Marin makes the best stuff, I'd go with all for reef. If you have ph problems I'd look into getting an algae reactor and a skimmer as those will raise your pH!

@@Pontiuspilate666 yah I'm running kalk, all4reef and auto water change. I have an amino supplement that has trace elements too. Most of them will come from the water change and all 4 reef though. Seems to work fine. Kalk raises ph. A skimmer only sucks in the air around it so if it's in a basement there's more CO2 build up. That's why I run kalk and I opened a window for fresh air. I have it on a continuous doser and yess I do run alot of kalk to Keep up demand. Like 3ml a second. Ph stays around 8.2

@@andrewlindell8626 I'd be too scared of over dosing using all of that, I prefer to keep things simple. My tank is on the middle floor and I keep the fans circulating air all day and have a fan that sucks air out of the house all day. Glad your setup works!

Its not going to be enough and the ratios get out of wack. Use kalk, use all4reef to replenish abd supplement everything and if alk is being used up rhen dose that specifically

Terrible product for when your tank is only using up all of 1 out of 4 key elements in the tank. Now your other 3 are much higher than normal

​@@CoralReef69same, never had any problems with this stuff before! Alkalinity is the main measurement for reefs for a reason. Idk anyone who has had problems with this stuff that doses it correctly.
