I have had a few recalls on my 2020 Escape. Most have been software updates done by Ford Mobile in my driveway plus replacement of faulty rearview camera covered by warranty. And Active leather is not vinyl.

In July I ended up getting a 2024 Ford escape St line with the 1.5 all-wheel drive . It gets 27 in the city and 39 on the highway. Also the rapid Red metallic is.. I really love my new SUV and would highly recommend it.. the heated seats work great

That fad of buttons and dials for shifting gears is coming to an end...all manufacturers will be mandated to have the shifter on the column...the safest and most efficient place for the shifter. GM already made the wise choice to do so in a lot of their trucks and SUVs.

Ford really needs a 25k car or SUV in their lineup. No manufacture should have a new 2023 SUV on their lots.

The Mavericks are around that price. Which is why they’re selling like crazy.

I like it but no way for $39,000. I'll buy a Trax for $27,000 a Kicks for $31,000 or an Envista for $29,000

It’s not bad, but make sure you test drive a loaded Mazda CX-5 2.5T before you make your final decision. It makes the same horsepower and A LOT more torque at much lower RPM. What this equates to is fantastic off the kind speed without much throttle input - aka great fuel economy without sacrificing acceleration. The Ford is only fast when you put your foot into it which will result in underperforming your estimated MPG by huge margins. I’m not saying one is a clear winner over the other - I love both. However as a daily driver the Mazda is easier to drive economically while only being .3 seconds slower.
@AlexAlex-gs1xhАй бұрын
@TheDiameter first speed doesn't matter Mt daily running doesn't require me going over 45mph speed so acceleration is not important not torque I just need looks and features which the escape unfortunately is better because mazda look ok and not great and the screen looks small and distant compared to ford some mazzda screens are not even touch.

@@AlexAlex-gs1xhOh, you’re one of those people that buys cars based on the size of the iPad they glued into the dash. I’ll quit wasting both of our time.

@TheDiameter no features and cost are important. Any average person would never buya a car with 7 or 8inch screen in 2024 it's too small even if it was 10inch screen I would buy it.

Still rocking the FixOrRepairDailly? Hope they are becoming more reliable than in the past. Nice utility and quick enough for most folks. Thanks for the review Ben.

@TheDiameter one all 3 are overpriced, have no features and small screens and I am not broke even if I buy a honda I would still upgrade every 5yrs.

This is a handsome vehicle except for the vinyl seat covers, how much is Jim Farley saving inside by not using real leather? US OEMs need to extend bumper to bumper warranties to mirror their powertrain warranties 5 Years 60k miles to be competitive with the Koreans. I am not a fan of blacked out trimmed vehicles. Give me Chrome trim and polished aluminum wheels with a fast in dash entertainment system.
@TheDiameterАй бұрын
Good luck, if Ford did that warranty stuff they’d either need to charge $10k more per vehicle or go bankrupt

I mean it’s 0-60 is what? 5.9 seconds? That’s not bad but it’s nothing that’s going to impress anyone for $36k minimum. You’re looking at $40k if you want more than just the power…

@TheDiameter first stop abusing me, second 180hp is not slow no one is driving 70mph daily unless u need to use the highway. Why do u need more than 180hp when your max speed is 45mph daily and majority 25 to 35mph.

@@AlexAlex-gs1xhMy max speed is 85mph and my average speed on my commute to work is 55mph. That’s why, moron. Not everyone lives in a city.
