The Mongolian beef is the third Marion recipe I tried with success. They are simple, tasty and easy to make. I am privileged to have a large Asian grocery store not far so getting the products is easy, even gojuchang! Thank you a million times Marion to make this possible for us.

As a Mongolian. I don’t know this recipe. It’s probably Chinese or something. We don’t marinate our beef with oyster sauce nor soy sauce. But it’s a good recipe though.

Hiya, Marion. It's probably worth mentioning that you need to prepare your beef slices properly. Cut your piece of beef across the grain. If you cut it with the grain you won't ever get tender beef.

Its super simple easy to dish out, all pantry ingredients and you can change to any protein you like! Way better than the chow mein! Brown sugar is just white sugar with molasses mixed into it. Diabetics can usually have a small amount of molasses (aka treacle in Aus)... maybe just use a small amount with whatever sugar substitute you use in baking normally??
@karenstrong88873 жыл бұрын
@@lucindas723, I am not allowed any sugar. I prefer to control my Diabetes without injections or medication. I don’t use chemical substitutes either. I was hoping I could add palm sugar if it is not as bad. I have never used it before so I wasn’t sure if it is really a sugar.
