My father was stationed at NORAD back in the early 1970's, I've got some fond memories of there even though I was only 6 years old or so. Thanks for taking us along!

Thanks for the Great Vid. Wife rides a 2014 Spyder Limited. I have a 2014 Goldwing. I ride average of 19000 miles a year. Thinking of getting a Super Tenere ES and keeping my Goldwing. In 2015 all off road toys were stolen. First time I have watched but not the last.

Douglas Cassetty thanks for watching. I'm thinking of purchasing a Goldwing sometime in the next couple of years.

On two Goldwings I have around 150,000 Miles. Friends have 300 to 600,000 miles on many of the wings over the years. If you want to travel it is the bike to have. All factory options but the airbag on my wing. My hope is that Honda will put traction control on wings soon. Watch the airbag video. I wish I had it. Love the ABS. Thanks for the reply. Ride safe.

Nerve-wracking to ride on such a dark road! Stunning scenery! I lived in Estes Park in the Rockies awhile back and just loved it.

very nice wheels. I didn't have a chance to see Estes Park on this trip...but I heard good things about it

Wife and I just got home from Colorado and ur right, Coloradans should be very proud of their state. Beautiful scenery at every turn in the mountains. Telluride was a highlight for us, hope you got there. BTW, what's the red blinking lights on ur bike in the beginning? Was hard for me to see.
@RobsMotovlogs8 жыл бұрын
Man I wanted to see Telluride but didn't make it there. I did see Ouray, Silverton and Durango. I loved that area. the blinking light was the remote for my helmet cam

Assuming you took 550 North out of Durango towards Silverton and Ouray then you did see some beautiful country. Glad ur home safe and sound. I couldn't figure out the blinking lights, was thinking it might be some type of safety/visibility system.

Great trip, how much of your gear that you have on your ride do you take in to your hotel? Do you park in a well lit place at the hotel parking?
@RobsMotovlogs8 жыл бұрын
Phil thanks for watching. I brought all of my gear to my hotel room...dry bag, backpack, tank bag, and my camera gear that I had stored on the hard cases. I always ask the hotel staff to let me park right outside the lobby entrance. most of the time it's well lit and a bit more secure than having it parked in a dark parking lot...out of view

A bit un-nerving, but looks fun. A true sense of adventure. 106 would probably have killed my HD.

Dark road? I've got the cure. Clearwater LED lights! They are like mounting a second sun on the front of your bike. Expensive but very high quality and unbelievably bright. So how are you liking the S10? I hate the tractor sound of the engine but they seem like a well put together bike with typical Yamaha "never leave you stranded" reliability at a good price. I've got an FJR1300 and taken it on dirt roads but your bike would be a better choice for going "wherever" regardless of road condition.

Surfbird, good suggestion my man. after this trip I will have to invest in those lights. I love the Tenere. yea it has that tractor sound. but the bike is a tank and reliable. good in the dirt too. how are u liking the fjr

Geez those speed limits of yours! :--(((((((((((( I feel for you! :--(((( If I couldn't do 80-95 on the highway/motorway in the UK I would rather go by train even thought it's a bloody fortune to get tickets on those.... And I'm also only on the little bro the 660 Tenere at the moment, so the Super Ten would just make me feel even worse...
