According to the Audio Drama CDs for DMC Anime, Dante owes a client, Enzo (most definitely not the Enzo from Bayonetta), after he loses his arm to a devil arm and Dante slicing it off. Most of his retrieved armaments are given to Enzo as leverage for his debt where he tries to pay it off. Albeit Agni and Rudra were intentionally left with Enzo because "they annoyed him"

Hell of a Freudian slip from Woolie there. Also I was super disappointed that Quicksilver didn't come back in DMC4 with refinements similar to what Nero's going to be receiving in DMC5, but I guess that's because of how rushed that game's development cycle was. In any case, I'm glad we're getting a form of Quicksilver back in DMC5.
