15 kilometer run, and 5 rounds on pads... and then 8, 5 minute rounds in the afternoon... DAMN. That's insane. His cardio is off the charts... there's a reason why he kicks and punches with same power throughout fights, while his opponents generally get exhausted after the 3rd round and start falling behind more and more.

Not much has changed in over 30 years. The training Rodtang does is pretty standard in Thai gyms down to eating only two meals a days. Good stuff. Rodtang is strong like a lot of Thai fighters.

@@jaywilliams6250 hard to fit enough calories in 2 meals without feeling bloated
@MH-zg5yw2 жыл бұрын
@@jaywilliams6250 That's because personal trainers (which are a dime a dozen) and bro science folks have pushed how bodybuilders eat and pass it off as a good thing. Eating 5 meals a day is ok if you are bodybuilding. Definitely not a good thing for the average person or average gym goer.

@@MH-zg5yw we just have unlimited supply of food and a culture that has 0 self control and immense greed
@Reypstraptor42692 жыл бұрын
@@MH-zg5yw The purpose of eating like a bodybuilder is to boost recovery and adaptation.The bodybuilders have to recover to train same as fighters and they need proper nutrients and rest for adaptation for muscle growth and in fighters case they also need the nutrients and rest but the adaptation is for endurance.A person who is 5''3-5''5 weighing in at 130-150 lb would require less eating than a 6 foot + guy weighing in at 190lb+ .You absolutely must eat enough protein for recovery and you need carbs for energy to train and you also need fats for testosterone production.
