9:22 I'm genuinely surprised at the lack of plastic clips! Screws and bolts to hold all that plastic on! I converted all of the plastic clips on my car utilizing body bolt/screw clips and nutserts. They secure better and don't break like the worthless plastic clips.

18:24 They are Not riveted, the automatic cars are the only ones that the cross member bolts in like the one pictured, The manual cars are fully welded in to the frame. The manual cross members are what this mod is designed for. The 6th gen camaro looks to be an easy to mod car compared to the C7.

The gains of improving exhaust in front of and behind something like cats are going to be pretty small. Exhaust ultimately can only flow as much as its most restrictive point. Removing lesser restrictions helps by not adding to it but still limited by the main restriction.

A lot depends on what correction factors they're using. You can make a dyno say almost whatever you want if you screw around with things.

I just did one without the special tool. A screw driver? I had to clamp the belt down to the pulley with 90 degree needle nose pliers and turn the engine over counter clock wise with a big pair of channel locks. I couldn't get all that done with a screwdriver.

Sadly I'm gonna have to agree I had 14 Gt with FBOs and tuned. It was no comparison to my brother's C5 with H/C, exhaust & tune the coyotes are soft down low which kills the fun factor. I guess anything can be fun if u throw enough cash at it though.

@@Slvr2k You must not know what your doing. 2nd gen Coyote motors (2015-2017) are made for boost. I’m talking everything from Procharger, Vortech, Paxton, Edelbrock, etc....with proven dyno numbers up to and over 700rwhp. Just get an aggressive tune from Lund or Palm Beach Dyno. Only thing to do beforehand is upgrade the oil pump gears and switch the crankcase to billet pieces and you are good to go!🔥

Yeah right , 8,700 on a super charger to pick up 100 hp . That car made 450 factory , so you can 100. With a good hp tuners tune and intake and exhaust they make 475, Edelbrocks products are a joke and where all tired of seeing installs on products you get for free and no one can afford and suck . @hassanosman523 not on this fuel with no supporting mods. Supporting mods matter alot. I don't mean just fuel stuff I mean the overall setup. Long tubes and full free flowing exhaust is alot better than their setup and would likely be required to touch anything near 700. Also ported helps alot because it gives you a huge inlet inlet restrictions kill you on these kinds of blowers. There is a wide discrepancy of what power you'll make based on your overall setup and supporting mods or lack thereof.

Actually, the ZL1 dynos at around 540 wheel HP and clocks 0-60 at 3.5s (vs 4.0s stock ss). At 570+ hp you can see how this car would outperform the ZL1 given the traction isn't a factor.

A set of slicks and its hitting the 1/4 in the 10s. My little brothers 2020 LT1 Camaro is stock and hitting 11.4's with just some drag radials. A stock ss on street tires is hitting 12.8-12.6 in the 1/4. 2 tenths my ass lol

I need that 2016 578 horsepower Camaro. I have a 92 Z28 that's been sitting up for a year cause my wife has been sick. I lost my job back in May cause she almost died from a collapsed lung and the Hospital lost my fmla paperwork. My job let me go. I've now work in Auburn at a Kia supplier in the maintenance department with a longer drive back and forth to work. I'm afraid when i get my Camaro back on the road it's not going to hold up with the original 158k mile 305 tbi.( it's a t-top car ). I need something to get me to work on time. With my wife having end stage COPD between medicine oxygen and doctor bills i can't afford a car payment at this time.

The only time I get sad at the mention of an ls is when someone puts one in a Ford. Now that is a disgrace. Ford's 4v engines even all the way back to the 03 cobra can easily make over 600 rwhp with a stock long block with a modern blower like this camaro has. And they do it with alot less cubes in case you didn't know the 03 cobra was a 4.6. The 4.6, 5.0, 5.4 and 5.8 all make easy 600-700-800 depending on the blower and overall setup and fuel. This is stock long block I'm talking about. There is sure no reason to be sad about this blown 6.2 doing like 580 wheel lol. Unless you're a gm guy.

Sorry but compared to the ZL1 and the ZL1 1LE, the SS *is* a joke. One buys an SS when one cannot afford a ZL1 (1LE). In the end it costs more to soup up an SS than it would have to have saved up and bought a ZL1 outright, and even with all the modifications, it still cannot handle like a ZL1 on the race track. SS is a dud.

420 to the wheels stock, 9 pounds of boost would have a multiplication factor of 1.61 [9 pounds ÷ 14.7= 0.61 + 1= 1.61.....now multiply that to original power level of 420×1.61= 677 hp...that is what it should have after adding 9 pounds of boost...that supercharger is a piece of shit!!!

That math don't always work. The efficiency of the engine greatly effects this. A cammed car with ported heads and long tubes will make a ton more power at the same 9 psi.

POS LS engine has too much compression, hence the low numbers after bolting on the blower. These engines just aren't meant to be boosted from the factory. Probably wouldnt even be able to drive the thing around here on a hot day even with 93 octane. Useless. Keep posting the old stuff, no more of this new car garbage.

Coyotes have been running at least 11:1 compression since 2011 and they easily make over 600 rwhp with basically any blower even on 93 with a stock long block. And this is with a 5 liter lol.

Higher compression isn't gonna give you low numbers with boost it'll give you more power per psi. It just means you can't run as much boost for each fuel type but also don't need to run as much boost because it makes more power per psi with higher compression. The 4v ford's all the way back to the 03 cobra can do 600+ wheel easily on 93 with a modern blower like this. And that was a 20 year old 4.6. The Ford engines work amazing boosted even the high compression coyotes so throw that can't boost high compression crap out the window. Sounds like you need to come to the dark side lol.
