Put the battery in the back somewhere. I relocated my battery in my last car to the boot and it was awesome. In the process of doing it atm.. hope it’s as easy as I Remember lol

Relocate battery to truck bed right behind driver side cab. Pretty easy one to get more room

Thank you sir! Great update again and the step by step progress on how far your Dakota has come from the time you started is pretty awesome! A clean garage is a clean mind and yup, it does help the thought process without extra clutter all over the place! Thanks for sharing! Aloha and Mahalos!!

When you're trimming those silicone pieces put a hose clamp on and it will give you a straight edge. I learned that from another youtuber!

Wow. Snake’n it. Good job getting around everything. Your right about the rubber expansion/contraction. It will rob you of power. Excellent video on your progress. Looking forward to what’s next.

You can also use wire krempers on piping to make a bead

Relocate it back to behind the passenger wheel well run a. Emergency stop button on the bed rail. Better traction. No AC. This isn’t some street truck. The less bends the better the flow.

It would be pretty sick to get an aluminum fuel cell and put it and the battery where the spare was... under the bed... with like a recessed opening for the fuel door so the entire bed is still usable... Would definitely help with traction and launching, and you'd get some more experience fabricating and welding... I plan to do this eventually once I actually get some POWAHHH. Might make more sense for you to just mount it in the bed and be done with it considering your plans for the truck. Keep it up though man, great work and content! 👍

I love these videos, because at some point I will be using these as a how to for my dakota rt (plus it's just great content). keep em coming!

Nice. Have you gotten to full time KZbinr now or still working the daily? You upload alot more now which is awesome 👍 Also how did you measuring to find out belt size
@BoostedMotorsports4 жыл бұрын
Thats the goal but its definitely not sustainable yet. I'd like to get there but still juggling multiple work duties and working double time to make it all happen. I had a fellow Dakota owner let me know what belt size he used so we'll see how it works out on the next video!

love the videos bro! little hesitant to lower my truck myself after I saw your video.. holy smokes lol
@joshuahollinger15764 жыл бұрын
@violentjett did you watch his lowering video? the rear looked like it was a bit of a challenge
@BoostedMotorsports4 жыл бұрын
Yeah the rear sucks to lower on these trucks especially if you have seized hardware. Also removing those rear hangars and the rivets in the frame were no fun lol

Relocate the pcm inside the fender , it will give you more room and look cleaner , add a meth kit and name it Breaking Bad lol , or a co2 in between the rad and intercooler , that way in the hot days you can cook down the rad and the intercooler

Jesus they dont give ya a lotta wiggle room to work with under the hood.
