Australia's first Magnuson heartbeat blown V8 Holden VF Commodore SS-V. C&A Auto Fashion hasn't wasted any time turning an out of the box SS-V model into a very quick street car. PHATF features a host of goodies including a Magnuson 2300 Heartbeat supercharger, C&A camshaft, Higgins CNC ported cylinder heads, a full DiFillipo exhaust system, NPC twin-plate clutch and a custom fuel system. Yes more modifications are coming for this car but as the VF is a new model, many after-market parts are not yet for sale.

Need a update with both VF's the turbo and also the Supercharged you said racing track and 1/4 miles to date not seen anything as far as times etc. :) over 1,000 hp will give you low 9's easy?

The new GTS has a lot of extra technologies like torque vectoring rear diff that talks to the mrc suspension, stability control and ABS. It's also got a beefed up drive train rearwards of the gearbox to cope reliably with the extra power. This SS-V is still an awesome car!

Well considering that The turbo kit was around 500kw on the l77 ss @ 10psi it just doesn't make sense to have all that plumbing and massive turbo and turbo manifold pipes here pipes there and then intercooler and the cold pipe here and there and all that fabrication when hey a cam set of injectors 2x fat fuel pumps a 2650 blower can make just as much power and 10x less fuck arseing around

Not really lame, Just depends if you can be bothered in which most of us can't and that's where HSV wins. Stock SS for 42k, GTS 106k, That 64k difference spent in mods would more than make up for it, Build a V8 supercar for that, Take it to CAPA get 680-880kw package which is 49k that leaves 15k to spend on suspension and brakes and anything else that needs strengthening. ;) All comes down to how much do you want to spend in both money and time and do you want a daily or track/strip only!

Totally agreed. Or just get the SSV Redline. HSV is all about styling, that MRC suspension and other little toys here and there. Otherwise HSV is quite overpriced.

The only area i would upgrade as well is the piston rings all of them,so much extra air going in and forced as well, you would think that its only a matter of time before they give in, but upgrade them to good performance types and then you dont have to worry about them, but then again its their car so if anything goes wrong with it, they simply fix it, thats the beauty of having your own workshop thats does mods like this. :) OR you have a shit load of cash and you dont care what happens to the car you have fun in it racing all the others out there with drag gears set up and drag suspension as well, with st legal drags tyers and before you know it you doing under 10's. :)

Hold down the START button for 10 Seconds ( with out your FOOT on the brake) Then push down the Accelerator pedal down 3 times very quickly and thats it) you should have reset the service indicator ? If you have a key, then just the same put it on start, but do not start the engine wait 10 seconds, floor it 3 times and then turn the car off and it should be rest . Cheers :) Theses a u tube upload about it for push button start cars, but it works the same with key start as well ?

No problems, also they have the Engine managements service indicators, which i will find out from Holden, i believe you hold down the left side button re: the cruse button down while the Start button is activated, but do not do it, till i check it with Holden, re: its just an indicator of your oil where its at re: % wise, coolant etc,and other features etc. i will send a link to you, which gives you the indicators ok. cheers :) www.carmodder.com/view_doc.php?doc_id=47&model_id=149 cheers, but i think its more for VE models ok, i am trying to find out if the VF is the same ok. :) cheers. :) Buy the Way how is you R8 coming along, its got 340KW yes or is it a LSA2 ? I have a VF 2015 Redline with Extra rear Brembo's fitted and de fillipo's rear mufflers, getting about 10.5 average with E10, but a little better with 95 fuel, more importantly i am thinking of getting the supercharger fitted, but again there goes your factory warranty, if you have the CASH to fix a problem then no worries. Also noticed that for $5,000 re: OTR Headers and CATS, full exhaust your only getting about 60KW extra at the flywheel re: 315 to 325 KW so expensive for so little extra horsepower ? YET just the OTR with the rear mufflers changed you can get a tune which is about 10KW less but only cost's about $1,500 all up ? Spoke to con he said no worries about the tune etc. Also the supercharger is about 12K with everything ? But again what happens when something goes wrong ?

Also have you seen Alpine new system for the VF's check this out ? www.alpine.com.au/shop/perfect-fit-solutions/x901d-vf/ Not bad hey, but not much difference other than a DVD blue ray player and a few extras, chrome surrounds instead of the silver verion and a bigger screen, but for the price you would have to go all out with spline speakers as well and AMP ? so there goes at least 10K including install ? If i had the extra CASH no worries, you would get most of it back when you sold the car especially if low KM like i have only 28K on mine ? Not bad for a almost out of warranty car. Spent total of about 3.5K of extras, but the car goes great a fly could land on the accelerator pedal and she would speed up. :) Yet i have taken the same model of car with less KM and you have push the pedal down at least twice as much just for the car to move as you want it ?

Mine is the 2014 340 sv non supercharged . I love it drives really beautiful plenty of power . I did have custom made 3inch catback with highflow cats it was very loud I got threatened by a cop that pulled me over and then said he knew where I live now ? Like wtf is this guy gonna sit out front? Anyway I took it off and put the stock exhaust back on . I'd love to go to harrop and get one of their full exhaust systems with an otr and tune or a full exhaust cam and otr tune package ill be happy with a nice lumpy cam sound . Supercharger I dunno too much money for what can't use it all on the street lol . Anyway I fucked up shoulda bought the gts but the price was giving me panic attacks. But I initially liked the look of the clubsport better i preferred the clubsport front bar instead of the gts and went with my gut instinct and got the clubby instead

Megamotormahem, It depends on what sort of supercharger your after, the VE SV6 had a supercharger but it was not a Valley Mount Supercharger like the ss can have, the only Supercharger you can get is the turbocharger ones so a mix between superchargers and a turbo. If that helps, have to get a valley mount one custom or build it urself

The factory differential will handle the power for every day use, but it was surprising to know they didn't upgrade it since it will be a strip car as well. Sounded great.

ps M5 standard just om 380 kw standard 11.85 1/4. has reached 305km/h Suzi did 1/4 10 flat but still learning to keep power down. If yr in Sydney Eastern raceway Wednesday 6th Nov 2013 from 5pm come and see.
