Griddles never cook evenly. I use a square electric fry pan, which does cook more evenly. I can do 4 small pancakes in it. Otherwise use a cast iron griddle on a oblong propane stove burner. That works well to. Happy anniversary to you both!!

I always thought the name apple butter was bc it is a creamy spread to use in place of butter for your toast or biscuits lol the pancakes and syrup is on my radar.

We love Apple Cider in this household. I love knowing that fudge can be made using apple cider and chopped dried apples as well. However, sadly I am a diabetic on an insulin pump so I'd be in a diabetic coma from your extra sweet recipes. Do you know if I could make some of these recipes using sugar free sweeteners or at least 3/4 or 1/2 using diabetic friendly sugars mixed in with half or 1/4 regular sugars for these recipes? I believe the apple cider muffins would work well and perhaps the pancake mix too shown here today but the fudges may be a different taste or not turn out as firm using in fudge recipe you have??? Anyway, I wish I were not a diabetic.... They look DELISH!

Tip for parchment: flip pan upside-down, crease paper at edges of the bottom of the pan, flip pan back rightside up and put parchment inside pan. Your parchment should fit nicely.
