Not the supercorp ending i wanted but them finally becoming their own person, embracing themselves and recognizing the importance of being in each other lives was truly beautiful, it was a true love confession, not checking into romantic or platonic box, just pure love itself. This was just Lena and Kara, no hiding, nothing to prove to anyone anymore.

- Wedding episodes always get me. The tears started for me when Esme said “Guys I want hugs too.” - Brainy really said, “Screw the space time continuum. I’ve gotta date with my dream girl.” 🥺 - Melissa and Jeremy singing WITH Chyler’s *genuine reaction* to seeing Azie…I was gone. I was full blown sobbing. - Also, Lena FINALLY got hear Kara sing…you know she was feeling emotional too. I’m okay. I’m fine. - Lena being Esme’s godmother…you KNOW Lena’s gonna get her a pony for her birthday. But seriously though, Lena as godmother from the person who though she was the same as Lex…the amount of growth between Alex and Lena’s friendship makes my heart soar! THIS is the love from her family she always deserved. - Kara getting the EXACT SAME “coming out” speech from Cat…we all need someone like that to motivate us to being our true selves. - Kara was LITERALLY connecting with Lena as her whole self…and nothing happened. I’m bitter. Having said that, I was surprisingly okay with that? Like, they’re both being their authentic selves without anyone telling them what to do. And they’re going to be in each other’s lives from that point on. They are each other’s comfort, person and perfect match. - Lena’s lip quiver…you know that was authentically Katie saying goodbye to Melissa. My heart. 😭 - They faded to black. They Korrasami’d us. That tells me the ending is opening to interpretation. And how I’m choosing to see it is this: time has passed and maybe Kara and Lena were a couple. Maybe they did start dating and were an item during game night. Because as it’s been said multiple times, Lena is Kara’s perfect partner. They are Endgame and that’s how I’m choosing to see them. - The way this series started with Cat bringing us the story about Supergirl, and it ends with Cat interviewing Kara AS SUPERGIRL…literally perfect. The exhale, you could see the visible weight being lifted off her shoulders. She is her whole self in that moment. 😭

I was just thinking about how beautiful it was to see Alex, who didn't trust Lena because she was a Luthor at the beginning of the series, trust Lena with Esme and make her Esme's Godmother. We saw what she was willing to do to save her daughter and it just makes it that more amazing to see how far those characters have come. They're truly family now.

That last Supercorp moment almost made me laugh. "I just can't connect with someone completely. There must be someone I could tell my secrets, fears and dreams to. If only there was that special person... What do you think, Lena?" As precious as that moment was, I couldn't help but feel there was a LITTLE bit of trolling right there. Kara must be a little blind while wearing those glasses. But Lena is finally with a family that loves all of her. She's not Lena Luthor-Danvers, but she's pretty much a Danvers anyway. Thats just fine with me.

I truly enjoy cat grant coming back for this. It felt full circle with the series beginning with Kara splitting parts of herself to now being integrated. I really wish supercorp would have been canon in the show but I agree I knew the writers wouldn't let it happen [even tho there was clear parallels but I digress]. Now the dansen wedding? Beautiful!

I love to see how far the character has grown in the past 6 seasons. Kara who hides her alien self from the world to come forward as Supergirl. Alex's journey on acknowledging who she is and what she wants. Jonn from Alex boss to the father figure for the Danvers sister. Lena moves on from her struggle about her Luthor name. There are many more which I am too lazy to type but I'm happy watching all of them grow to be their better self. I love this show so much.

here is one more🤡, even when Cat pushes Kara to decide what she wants to do (season 2) is Lena's words that make her realize what she wants "you could have fooled me", now again Cat pushes Kara to decide again about being her whole self, but it is Lena's words "wanted to live my own life and now I finally am" and "Can't always be our savior" that closes the deal (yes Cat got the ball rolling but to me, it was Lena who pushed it over the line) and right after she finishes talking to Lena she decides to put the glasses down.

I'm really gonna miss this show, it made me a better person and be my true self. I hopped on the train at the end of season two, thanks to the supercorp edits and i couldn't be happier. Yeah some seasons were horrible to watch, but i tried to overcome it, because i fell in love with these characters. We didn't get supercorp, but at least we got a good ending with Dansen and for that I'm so happy. This show saved me and for that I'm grateful. Seeing Cat Grant was a cherry on top.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, there is a huge difference between knowing something to be true and wanting something to be true. We all knew supercorp was never going to be canonically endgame but that didn't stop us from wanting it desperately. That final supercorp scene was beautiful but also cruel, the writers knew what they were doing when they had kara make a big speech about being her authentic self and finding her perfect person to the woman that we all ship her with and while at her lesbian sister's wedding. I have never witnessed a more metaphorical yet exact reference to coming out. I'm not at all surprised that they didn't end up together but what absolutely crushed me was thinking for even a second near the end that there was the smallest chance that the writers would finally let us have them. Honestly I'm glad it's over so I can finally put my clown nose away and start to move on.

As much as I would've loved a supercorp endgame I didn't mind this one. Finally got Kara to just be her full self and she's growing into that plus cat grant being in season 1 and now appearing back in season 6 for the full circle.

I'm okay with the ending, even though I predicted two of them (Superfriends game night, Kara becomes CEO (sort of) of Catco), because Kara's with her family and she's finally content, and even though they weren't canon Supercorp is endgame and that's enough. Again, points for the CW for getting Calista back I'll be waiting for the rant Adam

I diidn't want Kara to go to the future or Argo and leave her family.I didn't want Kara depowered or no longer Supergirl.I wanted Kara to be content with both aspects of her life and thought them taking a play from the current Superman comics where Clark revealed his identity for some of the same reasons as Kara does here would be the best avenue to do it.I wanted the door open still for Supergirl to able to make guest appreances in the Arrowverse once Melissa had a chance to decompress sicne she did say in her EW interview she would be open to coming back down the line for crossovers or guest shots..So I basically got exactly what i hoped for in this finale.And Cat Grant too.I'm amazed they kepted it a secret. I do wonder if Kara's identity reveal will be touched on in The Flash and/or Superman & Lois.I think it may be on The Flash since Alex is in the Armageddon event.I can see Barry bringing it up to Alex.

I completly agree with you, for me that last scene was more intimate than a kiss or something else, I mean having that last important scene for Kara and Lena was a huge deal for me. That last scene was one of the most beautiful scenes between those two it was beautiful and it come from the very first person who told Kara that "Kara was her hero" not Supergirl.That means a lot more.

Well in my eyes Supercorp became canon but I seriously thought we were going to get a kiss for some clowning reason lol now I'm just waiting for then to have a comic and video game for a continue story. Manifesting that into the world right now! Love how they got the last scene before ending it off with the Superfriends having a game night which is beautiful. Also, it's just hitting me that everyone in Lena’s bio family is gone like wow... but she will always have the Superfriends. Also, Jonn and Mgann having a kid?? Nia and Brainy getting married soon?? New adventures with the Superfriends?? Man, I really do need a comic and video game lol I'm gonna treat this like Life Is Strange XD I'm so glad that Brainy came back and we got to see Cat Grant plus the OG Superfriends! The Dansen Wedding was beautiful and great too! Getting to hear Kara and Winn sing was amazing. Forgot he could sing Glad Kara got to have it all and she's probably thinking she could have had it sooner thats probably why she broke down in front of Lena but hey life is a journey. It's been fun watching your rants for this show Adam. I been showing then to my friends as well and they laugh but I can't wait to hear your rant. Without even getting into the plotholes or what did or did not happen, because the show is ultimately about Supergirl. A story--regardless if it is adapted or not--that has ended should feel complete. Complete as in to know and not surmise; this is not defined as fanservice, but just being generally productive; that is the kind of satisfaction you want. So to put it bluntly Supergirl--the show--does not feel complete. If you don't agree, you didn't really watch the finale. In 101 we were presented with Kara and her existential angst who throughout the course of that first season explained things she believed could give her life meaning, purpose, and value or as she so obviously pointed out in the finale success in these gauntlets. However, despite all sound reasoning--that widely favoured SuperCorp who were blatantly queerbaited--the answer to those questions--regardless of where you stood--that the audience theorized the past 6 plus year over ended in *Kara merely EXISTED* . Worse yet, *wasn't AUTHENTIC* during it. *The audience watched a show for literally NOTHING.* Why? Cause you don't know how she would have acted after everyone knew who she was. Her whole existence was entirely dependent upon other people knowing who she was. And, AND they literally cut off the lights before she spoke, infinite silence, just amazing ^slow clap^ *You, I, We, watched a show to witness a bloody paradox that was supposedly induced by bad parenting.* Wonderful, just wonderful. You gays are way more positive than I am right now cause I am fuming. 6 f**king years, for this? Oh buddy... gotta walk it off... again.
