Then they brought Cat Grant back and I'm screaming and jumping like crazy because I didn't expect her to come and I really miss her antics. I'm glad there is no spoiler about Calista coming back because it is a really nice suprise.

- Damn it, when Lena gets emotional and cries, I do the same. 😭 - Lillian may have damped Lena’s true potential but she really did, truly love her. And Lillian giving her that validation is everything Lena needed. And as if that speech wasn’t about coming out and living your truth, I then I don’t know what else it would be. - The way Lena IMMEDIATELY WENT to Kara, and that hug 🥺. They are each other’s comfort. - Lena can do her magic so casually now, we love that for her. Shows how powerful she really is. - “You’d think in another life I was a Kryptonian.” “Only in the movies.” This line….I was CACKLING. Helen Slater is an icon in her own right as Supergirl 😂. - Sending Lex and Nxly back to the Phantom Zone was the most unfulfilled ending to a battle I’ve ever seen. - Did anyone else notice that when the LLF was being revealed…Lena LOOKED UP?! Was Kara watching the unveiling?! - The way my body reacted to seeing Cat and hearing “Kiera” again…I’ve missed her! 😭 - EDITOR IN CHIEF KARA DANVERS! 😭😭 That has a nice ring to it. - The Danvers Sisters will always be important.

1) I feel like it was anticlimactic having everyone finally come together, including past characters who came from other cities and from the future, all standing next to each other with a big army of citizens behind them prepared to fight, just to have Lex and Nyxly just get sucked into the Phantom zone by their own portal and nobody had to do anything…. 2) When they broadcast Supergirl’s speech, that one guy stopped when he heard her voice and was like “Supergirl?” meaning he recognized her by her voice. Yet another reason people should’ve realized Kara was Supergirl 😂 Especially William, who had many conversations up close with Supergirl and sometimes immediately talked to Kara right after… he should’ve recognized her voice when Kara talked!!🤦‍♀️

I think we can all agree that Supergirl was more about working together when one person, super or not, wasn’t enough. Since the first episode, Kara had a team to work with, talk to, and be supportive. Let me say, no threat, no matter how big and powerful, can compare to the emotional strength of Kara Danvers, which is what she uses among her other abilities to protect earth as “Supergirl”!! 🦸‍♀️

Let's be clear here: Kara---perhaps defying the logic of her superhearing---did NOT hear Cat say "Go Get 'Em Supergirl" at the end of S2. I think I'm a minority POV, but I absolutely LOVED that the Phantoms carried Lex off to the PZ! (Though I am sorry Nyxly wasn't redeemed---at least more than Lex was). Despite what Alex said earlier, it was clear none of the Super Friends (inc Lena, again!) were going to kill him. And I don't think Kara even wanted to turn a PZ projector on him. But no: Lexly brought it on themselves. Perfect! 👍

Lex bringing out the Phantoms just to have them turn around and take him and Nxyly to the phantom zone was very confusing for me as well. Like here's this setup for a huge fight and that's it? But if that gave more time for the Dansen wedding I was fine with it. Felt like a strange end for Nxly but I'm not sure what the best end for her should have been.

All the scenes in the last few episodes showing Alex and Kara going different directions were unnecessary, this 1 scene was all that was needed. Alex didn't give Kara her normal advice, she told Kara that she trusts her to make the right decision. This scene was basically Alex saying I trust you have someone else in your life to be there, I can't take your problems as my own anymore. What does Kara do, say the same thing to Lena and Lena provides the support that Kara needed, as I think Alex knew she would. This whole season was Alex observing Lena take on her old role in Kara's life which made Alex feel comfortable in moving on with hers. I hated watching the Danvers sisters lose that magic, but it was great to see Lena become the new Alex for Kara. Kara can not do it all alone, she needs someone to always be there and whether it's in a romantic capacity or not, Lena has become the most important person in Kara's life, she needs her more than anyone
