In every single one of these CW superhero shows, it took about 2-3 episodes until literally every recurring character knew the hero's secret identity. Neither Arrow, nor the Flash or Supergirl had any private lives because there was nobody to have a private life with. All the characters were either villains or part of their superhero-ing. That's an insane amount of potentially interesting personal drama they eliminated only a couple of episodes into the first season and I have no idea why they did that. All that was left is defeat the baddy of the week and then the baddy of the season because none of these characters had anything going on in their lives besides that. That's not how you write compelling television.

I don't mind integrating technology into a superpowered character, but this kind of takes the charm out of her getting suited up the normal way. Like imagine if instead of ripping his shirt open to reveal the S shield, or instead of running into a phone booth or camera booth, Supes just walked up like Tony, removed his glasses, and his glasses became a nanosuit? That just detracts from the Superman/Supergirl vibe.

Almost all superheroes after about 1950 have some kind of technological costume or armour, and some before. Blue Beetle and Captain America wore chainmail, for instance. Numerous ones had powers from a pill, some from magic, but the strong, fast, etc. ones needed a costume that stays on, and doesn't get destroyed by windshear, fire, ice lasers from the fists, etc. Marvel said 'unstable molecules' and that was that. DC comics has The Tailor. Look him up, he's fun.
