Hey RV and trailer owners...How much easier would this make your life? Does anybody out there have something similar or different for the same purpose?

Super helpful as we plan for our trailer and just how we'll maneuver it into our tight garage. Thank you!!

Glad to hear it! You will not regret having one of these around. It’s been a game changer for our family.

I bought one for my bbq trailer a couple years ago, if your not on perfect flat surface it's kinda worthless because it does pull / push with both wheels in those situations so you go nowhere. So you have to unhook it and move the ball forward or backward if your not just going in one direction, genius. For sale.

You’re correct that it isn’t designed for uneven or sloped surfaces. It’s made for simple operations in tight spaces that would otherwise be impossible with a truck. Anything else should be done with a truck. Sounds like that’s what you’re trying to do with it. It’s excellent at doing what it was designed to do though.

How much does it weigh? Can you lift it onto a truck bed with 2 ppl?
@TheTravelerToolKit8 күн бұрын
Absolutely! I can lift it into my truck bed with the help of my 14 year old. I would guess it weighs 100-125 lbs. Not that heavy. Thanks for watching!

Are both front wheels powered or only one?
@TheTravelerToolKitАй бұрын
Both of the large wheels are powered :) Hope that helps! That’s for watching.

Can it handle a driveway slope? I have a long driveway but the first 15 feet are steep.
@TheTravelerToolKit2 ай бұрын
Yes, it can handle a slope of up to 4 degrees. You just have to make sure to keep the dolly below the trailer on the slope. Hope that helps!

@@TheTravelerToolKitThat’s my problem. My camper must face forward to allow for room on the right side of the camper. I can’t back the camper in, I have to pull it up the driveway. You are saying that I cannot use this dolly if it’s in front pulling up the driveway? Darn. I was ready to press the order button.

@gonavy5607 Check the Amazon page for clarification. That's where I was looking as well. It says it can handle up to a 4 degree grade, but that the trailer dolly should always be below the trailer...never being dragged down a hill by the trailer. You could always unhook on the street and bring it into your driveway in either direction. This thing makes it so easy!
@gonavy56072 ай бұрын
@@TheTravelerToolKit so dragging it up the slopped driveway should be okay, and I could have the truck behind the camper if it accidentally rolls back, right? I just don’t want to have to install a winch on the driveway, is my main concern. And I do need to steer and guide the camper.

@@gonavy5607 The way the Amazon page reads, I don't think they recommend dragging up or pushing down a hill. The trailer should always be on the high ground. So you can push up or pull down. That's the way I interpret their diagram on the Amazon page. Did you see that graphic? It's up with the product pictures.

The first 10-15 feet of my driveway has a 4.5 degree slope before it levels out. Do you think this will be able to handle this?
