"Not Another Teen Movie" is one of my favorites from this era. Starring Captain America himself, Chris Evans. It helps if you've seen stuff like "American Pie," "Breakfast Club", "She's All That", "10 Things I Hate About You", "Varsity Blues", etc. Actually, if you haven't seen "10 Things I Hate About You", yall should watch that. It's pretty great. Starring the Joker himself, Heath Ledger.

Sad coincidence Leslie Nielsen’s brother, Erik, died the year this movie came out, 2008. Leslie Nielsen died 2 years later, in 2010. Both were 84 when they died. RIP to both of them Crazy we just marked 13 years since we lost Leslie Nielsen. He was a comedy icon that will forever be missed

Myspace did have the top 8. The "No longer in my 5" joke had to do with cellphones back then having limited minutes and some companies would offer unlimited calling to a certain number of people that you could place into a "top" category. Being in someone's top five (or however many) was a position of honor among teens and their friends.

For me, the Scary Movies franchise was the last of the funny spoof movies that was not just making jokes for the sake of making joke after joke after joke of other movies, but the movie could still stand on its own. After that, all the other parody films made since seem like this movie, in the sense that it is just throwing a bunch of stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks and most of the jokes were juvenile humor, fart jokes type of laughs. Of course, that is just my own opinion. Prior to the Scary Movie franchise, my favorite spoof films were the Hot Shot films and Loaded Weapon. I would not call it a spoof film, per se, but have you guys seen "My Super Ex Girlfriend"? As far as I know, there is no movie that spoofs the modern MCU films, but the Family Guy TV show and the Lego movies do most of the spoofing nowadays. I cannot really think of any modern days spoof films, honestly. Galaxy Quest and Black Dynamite could probably be considered spoof films in the sense that they are comedy films that are made to look like other mainstream films and are, in a sense, making fun of them. But, they are not spoof films in the sense that they are more like homages to the same type of genre and can stand on their own as just very fun to watch and are not making fun of anything specifically. I guess it is a fine line sometimes between an homage vs. a spoof.

The Top 5 on the phone wasn't a Myspace reference, it was a reference to a cell phone plan that T-mobile had at the time, called MyFaves, where the people in your top 5 didn't count against your minutes, this is evidenced in that his phone is a Sidekick which was the main phone T-mobile was marketing at the time.

There was a funny pun in Russian dub of this movie. "Dragonfly" in Russian is "Стрекоза" and "female goat" is "Коза". There is also a word "Козёл" which literally means "male goat" but is also might have a meaning similar to English swear word "asshole". And Peter's nickname in Russian was "Стрекозёл"

Great reaction, guys. This move had its good and great moments, but it was mostly just an alright film for me. But I love watching you guys react to it. It's not a spoof movie, but I would love for you guys to react to "My Super Ex-Girlfriend". Starring Uma Thurman, Luke Wilson, and Anna Ferris.
