I don't remember where it was explained but her power was explained and that was it, she manipulations probability to be in her favor naturally. Because of this, she's nearly unkillable and can do damn near anything she wants. You have to have a 100% surefire way to kill her to do it, which is impossible because there's hundreds of variables that go into it somewhere in there her powers will fuck it over completely. I mean have a gun put to her head, misfire, clogged gun, jamming, backfire. Tying her up and either drowning or tossing her into a volcano, rope can come loose or break which gives her a chance at survival which means she will 100% survive lol. Her power is actually one of the most powerful ones there is. if there's a chance you'll miss hitting her it'll miss, if there's a chance she'll hit you she will. She is almost as stupidly overpowered as deadpool himself.

overpowering her? good luck with that lol. there's a chance you could slip releasing her, that she might just slip out of your grip, that you might sprain something, etc. But let's say you do, there's a chance any chain or rope you put on her so she can be weighted down into the ocean to be drowned will come loose or break, same for concrete, so you drop her in, it would just break, and at that moment she'd have a small chances to survive so she'd survive no matter what. Honestly her power isn't even used to 1/1,000,000th of what it could be. The only even remotely possible way to deal with her is to take her to space eject all escape pods, and blow the whole thing up with yourself inside along with her with NO space suits, I but she'd have to willfully go along with it to get onto the space ship/station in the first place because her power would prevent you from getting her there if she didn't want to go there. Her power actually pisses me off a little bit because it's just so stupid you can't do anything to her unless she wants it done, effectively she's a god she's a mortal god, and that's some bullshit. However the case of her only using a tiniest fraction of her power in anything is common among mutants and mutates in the x-men multiverse and expanded bits of universal tie-ins. None of them ever user their powers to the fullest really because no badguy would survive if they did making it a fairly dull comic/tv show/movie. For instance Storm she can sink everything under hundreds of feet of water if she wanted, she can cause earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, world wide tsunamis, etc, but what do you see her do, make storm clouds to hit people with lightning and occasionally a tornado. There's only a couple of them that use their powers to the fullest that they're actively able to and all of have damn near completely useless powers.

She is my absolute favourite character of all time. I love her to pieces. Glad you got the important details in ;) If people want some good stories with Domino then the classic X Force series and her 2 solo series ventures are a great start, but for something more modern her role in Messiah War and her short series with Wolverine "Sex and Violence" are top notch. I mean tbh Sex and Violence is the quintessential Domino. Her humour, her heart, her badass skills, and her flirtatious nature. Wolverine's face when she takes her top off is priceless too haha! Another couple of random facts, she is scared of chickens and once landed in a swimming pool filled with pancakes.

Her superpower is not actually super luck, which is super suggestive BTW. Domino's powers are subconsciously operated: mild psychokinesis, omni awareness, and precision movement.The means without consciously decideing to, Domino use her mind to move, control, effect aspects of her surroundings, like jam and enmey gun, alter the angle of fire and other stuff like that. Domino can subconscious sense her surroundings and adjust her movement, for example giving her seemingly incredible aiming accuracy with multiple rebonds, dodge showers of bullets and other near improbable feats. She just has subconscious psychic powers that make her appear lucking.

Charles Spears i believe you're confusing deadpool's 4th wall breaking and other similar antics for plot points and character development. The issue that the serious comic fans have is the changing of a major character's ethnicity, not some minor thing like Ryan Reynolds making fun of himself. It's true that the mcu films have taken some liberties when it comes to a character's colour. They've also been extremely lucky in that their choices have worked out tremendously and have been widely accepted by film fans. If you're unaware- comic fans are known to be hardcore sticklers for canon, so a surprise race chage could be upsetting to them.

OK fine let's talk movie portrayal. Comic Domino is pale grey (some artists made this pure white) from being laboratory bred with the black tattoo over her eye branding her from the lab - so her origin is essentially altered by giving her a natural mutation rather than the brand and unnatural lab tones. Her name never came from dominoes or the spot over her eye. She says she named herself Domino because "everything seems to fall into place for [her]" - a reference to her luck not her looks. In the film they stayed true to her personality, the strong will, no nonsense, witty, easy going, badass. Her costume was also very reminiscent of the outfit in one of her solo series. Her powers were played just right, and I'd like to see what else they do with that. It irks me slightly that they made the visual changes BUT she's true to the character which matters more to me. And I will continue to cosplay her comic look as I have for nearly 10 years now. (Yes I wore it to the film haha!)

Complains about Domino being blackwashed.......but they never complain about her being whitewashed. Classically she's been white as paper, but when she gets "normalized" into a white woman no one complains. The author from what I've researched has never made a canon rule on why her skin was pale white. It's literally just an aesthetic choice to make a play on the characters name.
