You guys forgot to mention his relationship with Luke Cage and all the racist he experienced from the natives of K'un-Lun for being caucasic. The SJWs want Danny's actor to be asian despite that just for the sake of pandering... Personally I think they should cast a latino guy. His dynamic with Luke remains intact, the K'un-Lun people can still be racist asians, and he's not a hollywood whitey savior. Just cast one of the two Diegos (Luna or Boneta).

Iron Fist actually dabbles in the mysteries of the MCU like Dr.Strange so dark and gritty can be done, but thats not to take away from his time in the Hero's for Hire where he was a street level hero, with Danny Rands skills and abilities he would be a very helpful detective. In addition it's all about how marvel portrays him, he should have a wise demeanor but also have a good sense of humor, kindof aloof.
