right with you there.. makes me sad.. i don't keep up much with Hollywood anymore, its not even close to the same. When I see these actors I see them and remember then what they looked like. Then i see them now and i get upset and sad. I mean, age doesn't really hit anyone until they get older and been through more life experience. You think you are going to live forever. I hit 40 , not big deal. When i hit 50 it hit like a brick though I'm in amazing shape and people think I'm in my late 30's , the numbers don't lie. I also know Hollywood takes it toll. When they get a certain age they disappear . For many, regardless how successful they are, " they had their time" and get really , pushed away and ignored for the newer actors and actresses. I think that constant attention, ego they got most all their life suddenly ends and they also are not getting anymore acting jobs. But hey, what a great retirement worth millions right? Take care of yourself. Functional medicine MD's ... know your dna, support the hormones that lower over time and age you. Live longer.

Christopher Reeves set "The Look" for all Supermen that came after him. Look at everyone that has ever played Superman since then and they all share a resemblance to Christopher Reeves who didn't share any sort of a resemblance to anything like the original Superman, George Reeves. Christopher Reeves will always be the very embodiment of Superman ...... Unless Disney gets the rights to Superman (when they have to Fire Sale Marvel to raise cash), and then they will probably cast Superman as a half-Latino, half-Asian woman or something LOL.

I will always remember the gad guys talking about "planet oustan." It was hilarious. The first "Superman" movie was the best and it started the movie genre of super heroes that still goes on today. "Superman," however, will always be my favorite. Today's super hero movies offer and overdose of heroes and special effects leaving out the human interactions so well done in many of the earlier movies.

Well I’m middle age at least not too late to get into acting! Poor Valerie she looks like she’s in so much pain. I hate seeing people in pain; even actors. I grew up with this movie btw. It Was my childhood literally snd I still have the movie magazine which was fantastic promo for the movie..it really made you want to see it; fantastic movie. I wish I could have met Margot kidder or Chris Reeve or other actors before they died. That’s my biggest regret. This movie was so inspiring for me it made me work hard while growing up: studying piano, taking judo, doing boy scouts and honours student so many years: they should have made 10 superman films with reeve plus 5 year tv series but then I probably wouldn’t have spent any time on my studies so I guess it’s all for the best but the movies in the 90s got so much darker and less inspiring especially with guys like jim carry who were so arrogant. ps Sarah Douglas was so convincing as Ursa it was spinetngling to watch, heads shes around my mothers age! she should play her in a remake of “mommy dearest” did my mother take her ice cold cues from Sarah Douglas’ Ursa portrayal? My mother did watch the movie too! So much pain from my childhood..

@@dodgem259 It's perfectly audible and I don't see what you're even referring to and (at least to me) the comment is totally out of the blue. It's more likely, therefore, that the problem is with your hearing or your speakers. If it's the speakers, then the problem can be easily remedied by simply turning the volume down (i.e. you're playing it too loud ... which itself would also be a good indication, by the way, that the problem is with you). It remains audible even at 1/8 volume; more so, in fact.
