The Predators were so useless in this story. You know what they could have done? Replace the large group of useless Predators who we never get to know, with just one singular one who's the last of his kind, and like a completely salty bastard. And to make him a possible threat to Superman, replace all of his alien tech with magical tech that he picked up over time on earth. So he's still got that mix-and-match Predator aesthetic, but slightly different for this story.
@AngryLotus5 жыл бұрын
I'm a little late to this party, but a chunk of kryptonite made into a knife or speartip would have made a Predator a bit more of a threat. Superman isn't weak to magic. He's weak to anything that's strong enough to punch through a tank, and that just happens to be magic. Bigger gripe. What were the predators incubating the aliens in? The facehuggers need hosts. Were they kidnapping humans from the surface since the ice age? Were they sacrificing other predators? To have Superman and Batman begin by investigating missing villagers from a remote village, which only recently "joined" the outside world, and which claims to routinely make human sacrifices to it's "gods" would have been more interesting. A versus comic written around fighting really only works if you buy into the hero actually being in danger. When Superman takes on another licensed property this leads this to Superman being weakened in the most contrived ways imaginable. Batman is still human, so in theory, he is at risk until he figures out what he is actually fighting.

If only they defeated the aliens and predators were defeated by raw emotion after a tentacle orgy.... I mean we don't need that story a second time.

best part of any Bats/Supes vs Pred/Aliens, was in the first Supes vs Aliens, where Supes pukes up the chestbuster.

So they would have seen a signal for more predators to come if the ship was destroyed? Why not send a distress call and have the others rescue them in the first place?

yeah sometime later down the line during Dark Nights metal it was suggested by Batman it was also suggesting All-Star Superman Superman constantly radiates some of his stored solar power so basically anything that sensitive to sunlight is able to pick up on the fact that he's radiating sunlight Yeah I think this was back during the time where Superman's Fortress of Solitude had its miniature Universe inside of it

Batman after hearing Superman's excuse: "F**k you Clark, you're omnipotent. You could've brought it here at the speed of light and you know it." *Drops the Batmic*
