If the Superman movies ever had Superman look and react this way, it would be perfect. You see so many emotions in Clark. Resignation. Acceptance. Fear of the unknown. Sadness. And then finally....calmness and strength. What an amazingly well-acted and put together scene. Especially the slow motion. So well done.

Tyler Hoechlin absolutely nails Clark Kent as Superman. It's not either or, he's playing both at the same time....all the time. I think only Reeve has ever managed to approach that symmetry, but Tyler achieved it.

@@grayden4138 Yeah his performance is super under rated, I almost never see him mentioned when people talk about the best Superman. I’ve been watching my shows since the 80s. At first I watched this show cause I couldn’t see this actor as Superman I remember him as a kid in a movie so to watch him at the time I was skeptical but man I loved this show.I was so bummed it was over but glad I got to see a wholesome super hero again the way it was meant to be

The guy just casually “it’s alright, Supes, I’ll take it from here.” Just perfect. Like, the total “I got you” from the normal human beside the Demi god just felt great. Clark is just so tired and his friends are there for him right away.

My favorite superhero comics, shows, or movies are always the ones that do something that has never been done before. Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman's children becoming a family, a normal kid from New York finding the suit of Spider-Man and putting it on to save the day without any powers, and now this.

This show is hands down the best adaptation of Superman, period. No matter what anyone says, Tyler Hoechlin is my all-time favorite Superman. He brings every side of Clark Kent and Superman to life-whether he’s dorky, funny, heartbroken, or fierce, he nails it every time. And Bitsie Tulloch? She’s my definitive Lois Lane. Her emotional depth in every scene is unmatched; she brings such intensity to those powerful moments. Season 4 alone cemented her as the ultimate Lois Lane in my eyes. The entire cast brings their A-game, no doubt. Even the previous Jonathan actor did a solid job, and Michael Bishop has been incredible in the role as well. I could keep raving about this show, but there’s just too much to say. This show deserved at least seven seasons, but I’m glad they’re going out with an epic finale. #SUPERMAN&LOIS4EVER

Never watched the CW shows other than Smallville, but I really like this scene. It's a very interesting and well done way to force Clark to confront his double life in front of every single person that matters to him. In a way that he can't possibly escape or back down from. Very cool touch seeing it from his slow time perspective as well. Bravo to the writers.

One of the best if not the best version of Superman ever. HENRY was good but Tyler's version is on another level
@denM-ey3vb2 ай бұрын
That’s because Henry’s Superman was written and directed by Snyder. His goal was the visual effects for the most part and to squeeze all of the emotional depth of the character to a 2 hr movie. This series now has 4 season of character depth to explore which makes these scenes possible and earned.
@denM-ey3vb2 ай бұрын
Loosely put, Henry Cavill’s Superman did not have the luxury of Tyler’s Superman with time and nuance.

Henry was good 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Bro called the worst superman of all time good 🤣🤣 Henry was dg 💩. Tyler is the modern GOAT
@hyattwb2 ай бұрын
People I'm ummm very much aware of all of that😂😂😂. Even if Henry's Superman was shit @piyushy5877, or worshipped as a "God", the whole comment was based off of Smallville, and any other version of superman since Reeves death has been highly underwhelming. Then you have Tyler's version which is the best, and was properly done right not from this show but when this version of superman was in the flash crossovers, and Supergirl... Superman and Lois went more in-depth in him but the proper portrayal of him by Tyler was in Flash and Supergirl which make this season the GOAT. Actually dare I say this is the BEST CW DC comics SHOW since ever. Smallville went into his back story but waited too long for him to fly, Routh Superman was a continuation of Reeves version. (Kingdom Come Superman) Hint why Superman Return was after Superman 4 Quest For Peace which is why in the flash crossover Routh wore the Kingdom Come suit, then Henry which I agree Snyder Fd up, but that version was based off of New52 comic version in which superman was seen as a god like being and was dark and gloomy for a Superman
