An interesting note about Luther in this series (and probably in other media), he's usually one of, if not the smartest beings, but with that comes a ton of arrogance and underestimating his opponents. His losses are rarely from problems he thought through but rather from people or things he didn't see as problems in the first place because of his hubris.

Corey Burton and Micheal Emerson (he voiced Brainiac in My Adventures With Superman) are probably my favourite voice actors for Brainiac as they both do such a phenomenal job in the role that it's so hard to pick from both of them

I really loved the idea of Brainiac being Krypton's former AI that evolved to foresee Krypton's destruction and save himself as he was built as the collective of all of Krypton's knowledge and was made to collect all intelligence of the universe whether it be cities or knowledge. Even though I do like the original Colu origin for Brainiac as an alien who failed to save his world which does parallel Clark but part of me prefers the Kryptonian AI origin more as a it adds an extra layer of personal stakes to his relationship with Superman and seeing Clark conflicted with the idea of whether Brainiac truly wanted to help him since he's the only thing he has left to connect to his former home. Brainiac truly is one of the most dangerous DC villains and one of my personal favourites with how he's a 12th level intellect and can put up both a physical, emotional, mental and psychological threat to Clark and Corey Burton does a great job giving Brainiac such a cold, calculating unnerving performance as Brainiac. I also absolutely love My Adventure's With Superman's take on Brainiac as it is possibly the most evil take on the character ever and I won't spoil it but I highly recommend you guys check out the show whenever you have the time, it gives us possibly one of the best takes on a modern Superman yet.

Great 're-intro' to Brainiac, who we saw at the start before even Superman. Just as much of an archnemesis as Lex or Darkseid, and arguably just as enduring as the latter. Destroy his body, destroy his ship, purge his AI from every computer system in the world and he'll STILL find some way to return. Brainiac can only be delayed, never eradicated. Really hoping if there ever *is* a live-action movie Brainiac they don't go the Ultron route. I don't care if it's difficult- there *must* be a way to make a robotic cadence scary again.

Have you seen any clips of Brainiac from the "Krypton" TV show? The show as a whole was pretty bad, but I think it set a high bar for a live-action Brainiac. The make-up looked good and the actor gave a fantastic performance.

This ist 2nd favourite tv portrayal of Braniac. The version shown on "Krypton" was both comic-accurate and scary as hell. You should watch it but it probably wouldnt make a great reaction seties as it was canceled with the story unfinished. Nonetheless really well done. The show's version of Lobo was really fun, too. No spoilers, but you guessed right, Braniac will return

by far the best version of Brainiac, in voice mostly. Which is why I'm glad Cory Burton got to reprise his role in the Legion of Super heroes 07 animated series. Not really set in the DC animated universe, but a different one. Any Brainiac always leaves a back up of himself behind, either in space or...on earth.
