I know this is 4 months late but this is seriously the coolest thing I've seen in a while. I now desperately want SFMM to add this to the park. It would be much easier than building an entirely new coaster, but they could still market it as a new attraction and redo the theming in the queue and such. Would be a good way to rebound with a new attraction after covid without breaking the bank, although that RMC Raptor they are adding seems to be doing the same thing, since Raptors aren't crazy expensive

That's why I would love to see the old Intrasys LSMs torn out and replaced with modern Intamin LSMs so both sides could operate reliably! It would be somewhat expensive, but worth it in the long run imo!

WOW. This is such an amazing video and ride concept, everything is great. I also had an idea for Sunday the ride, you know some inverted impulse rides have a break on the vertical track part. Well I thought it would be cool if Sunday the ride had one at the top so you could stall there for a second before dropping down again

Well technically this ride has been a racing coaster since 1997. 🤔 It just became too expensive and too unreliable to simultaneously launch both sides at the same time anymore, or even have both sides operating together, even if their launches are staggered.

Yup that is correct! The second car to the ride is receiving major maintenance right now I believe, as that side has not operated since early-mid 2018. The LSMs on both tracks were also replaced by brand new ones, so I believe the other side should be operational once the other car finishes its maintenance.

Well it turns out that this concept became a reality six flags themselves flipped the left track train to face Forward but they didn't change the paint color.
