I would really APPRECIATE anyone with an opinion about this! My question is how can you deal with a child who has a FEAR of sleeping alone? What if they don’t feel SAFE sleeping alone (whether its about a ghost/monster under the bed/getting kidnapped while asleep etc). Because when I was younger my dad had to sleep on the corner of my bed because I wouldn’t feel safe..like I had a fear of getting kidnapped by a robber. So do you still go through the sleeping technique of jo..just take them by the hand and keep them there and until they get over the fear? So is

I have to disagree with the baby monitor video being off. Choking is silent. My baby has choked on her vomit and if I didn’t see her, I wouldn’t have known. I also recently saw a video of a baby choking on their dummy in their cot. Yes we need to rely more on listening and being aware of our babies different cries, but seeing is also valuable.
