In my opinion, getting rid of the FBI element was a big mistake. I understand it probably was a godsend in the writers room when they didn’t have to deal with it, but having agent Henrickson on their ass added such high stakes to the story AND it just made logical sense. It made the show more realistic in my eyes. Then when Henrickson found out the truth, killing him was also a mistake. I wanted him to be a character moving forward, like Bobby. An ally. Could’ve even used him as a double agent, their inside man in the FBI to help them out with stuff. I feel like season 2 was one of the best seasons of the show, if not the most consistently good, quality wise, in the shows history, and that season 3’s writers strike really messed up their plans. Of course without the writers strike I don’t think we would’ve gotten Angels and castiel, so maybe it all worked out.

You are so right about everything! I loved Henrickson and true, it made it real, think about ALL the dead bodies Dean and Sam have left behind and then just vanished!! They would be Americans Most Wanted!

Yes, was such a shame he was killed off, and also a shame that the idea of them being wanted criminals seemed to just disappear , with the exception of when the Leviathans took their form. But even then, the resolution to that was pretty easy and not as grounded as with Henriksen
