Exactly how I felt. Run away, spin dash, run away, spin dash. I get bored and skip ahead when I know he will win the round. Sonix, one of the few players that make me roll my eyes when I watch his playstyle of stalling. A good player but very frustrating to watch especially when they are facing a player that I like and want em to win.

Yeah I hate Sonix playstyle. He is undoubtedly good, but he plays like a bitch lol. It's a platform fighter, but he just runs away the whole time. Probably optimal, but it's lame af. That's why you'll never see Sonix have a channel with lots of traffic.

That second match was art and too satisfying to watch. I love how Sonix nullified a lot of Tweek's game just by taking away his item. With that we confirm that Sonix is brilliant and that Items should be banned.

@@nourzehnder5083 The smash community hates on Sonix because they are cringe, fail to see his immaculate plays, and think that fun is when Kazuya 1 hit kills punch punch bam bam his opponents. They are the equivalent of today's kids who can't hold attention for more than 5 seconds because TikTok has conditioned their brains to see something flashy every 2 seconds or they complain like little children.

Ikr!!! Sonix is such a aMazingh player!! Really hope i be that good someday! Tweek needs to do his homwork if want be good player like Sonix. Nice try though today. In all seriousness though, this was a painful thing to watch. I can only imagine how great this game could have been without Steve and Sonic. These games are neither fair nor enjoyable to watch.

We've had S Factor 11 Grand Finals, and we've had a number of sets to generate enough data so that we should be aware of when Sonix is playing defensively because they're at a quick draw neutral, where a singe error results in someone pushing an advantage state to death versus Sonix is flat out camping to run the timer.

No because I'm sure this excuse isn't afforded to others that go through the same. I love Pissed Tweek but the people that always pay his back are the same that trash other top players for losing in the same fashions. Tweek is the only one that gets excused by commentators and spectators and that makes it hard to keep rooting for him as a fan of his skills. Tweek can lose his temper, many will excuse it but any other top player has a rare occasion and most will shame them for it. Gotta learn to keep that same energy. Stop babying Tweek. He doesn't need it.

Sonix played like this vs miya too. It does get lame when he resorts to running and not interacting. But when he plays its lit. Sonix is the type to main ice climbers in melee and brawl just to win by wobbling

Is the rule of nature. Sonix defeats the characters that should be banned or modified at least (Diddy, ROB, Steve...), for then loose against Agressive Smasher, and more enjoyable to watch, style. Ultimate is in balance in that way.

I have never played Smash bros before or something similar. This is my first time. I really don‘t understand why everyone is hating on Sonix. I found this a highly strategic game from both. In boxing it‘s the same thing. They abuse what they know the best or build up to it.

@@riley9771 One, when you fight Diddy who has one of the fastest up smashes and tilts in the game every hit counts. The slower play style comes from how all top players can optimize every stray hit. Tweek is one of the best examples.

This isn't a great ultimate set to watch lol. If you're transitioning into Ult content, check out the first Skyjay vs Riddles, or MKLeo vs Prodigy, or some of these other renoun finals

@@dogyX3 Great suggestions! I've been an ult player since release, but have become an exclusive melee spectator. Ult has its rare moments, but sadly I think the meta is cooked until the next title. (I'll deal with the sonics, steves, aegis's, kazuya's, and g&w's in my own games, but I'd rather not relive that trauma again after my sets are over).
