Glad you are enjoying it! I got a small Gopro Session mounted at the top of my windshield and a Gopro 3+ mounted with a Ram mount to my cage.

supersnkae Its honestly the best setup I've ever seen for track footage and makes it very entertaining to watch! What do you use to edit/sync them together? I was unaware of any such feature in Gopro studio/racerender.

thx man, appreciated! I am using Adobe Premiere to sync, cut and edit it. Sometimes I use DashWare to just render out custom gauges and overlay them in the video as I wish. It`s a all a bit of work. But once you got your templates and workflow figured out it really is not that bad.

How do you sync turningon both cameras at once and make sure they are going? I always had issues with my gopro seemingly shutting off randomly

I sync them up in post. Takes two minutes in premiere and is really not too hard. But yea, my go-pros act up on cheap or bad memory cards. I just make sure I have working ones on hand and toss out the old ones.

Spec miata, but I believe I have to do some HPDE before I can run in spec miata. While I'm sorting the car I'm going to run in scca solo autocross once the season starts again in april. I just bought my 4th miata today, these videos were my inspiration to make one into something track worthy.

Do you pull a frame from the in car Gopro and paint over the roof with green in some photo editing software, and then overlay that green png on the in car view and key in the roof view?

dwt110 way easier. One camera is above the windshield, the the one is in the car. I just mask them in a nice looking way by hand. That’s it. Pretty easy to do.

A rule of thumb is if you're climbing all over them on corner entry go inside. If you can keep your nose on his inside rear quarter, when he oversteer shakes move up. It's a lot harder than it looks to set people up.

I really REALLY really want to know if those front air dams are reinforced by anything behind it, like rods etc, or have flat floors?

+No Grip just a pice of ply wood. It's really simple. Mine bolts on under the bumper with 2 bolts. Some people have it hanging from wires to allow for more movement.

Hey thanks for the reply. Yeah I had seen so many variations, from Emilio's early versions, and whole threads about custom DIY aero on some Miata forums. Maybe one day i'll commit and give it a go

+No Grip Mine is super cheap, sturdy and easy to use. The hanging one though is a bit better. The dams start caving in if you don't have a plate. We also paint them grey so if there is any kind of fluid leak in the front of the engine bay you can see the drops easily.

I actually have one ;) The blue one has the Springfield exhaust, which is crazy loud. Blows your ears away.
