So we've reached the first episode in which Steven being a pacifist and not wanting to hurt people is the legitimately incorrect decision. Personally, I'm pretty okay with that, considering how much I love the next episode, but they definitely needed to write this episode differently if they wanted to go for the angle that Steven can't redeem everybody.

Amethyst has multiple times saved him with her whip, they could of all fused to Alexandrite, tossed Amethyst to lasso him and then idk I just felt like they spent more time screaming at him instead of doing anything to prevent that from happening. And don't even get me started on how they found him with no explanation.

Because gravity and a vacuum are two different things. It's like when you vacuum the carpet. The vacuum applies more force than gravity, which is why it can suck dirt up off the floor.

My thing is why would Steven wait to see how the fight would go when he can just send the rubies floating into space and avoid fighting all together, what if the gems would’ve lost and they get captured, what if in your words the fused Rubies are poofed In one shot, why would Steven take that risk to see if the rubies are easily poofed if he can end the fighting instantly

I have a theory about how garnet's future vision works that may make the "why didnt she use fv" moments more acceptable In the episode where steven uses FV he has comes to a situation where he can act, and will basically be able to test what happens with the different actions. So situation -> action -> watch consequences Its an active ability that you must choose to use, and likely is centered around only you. So if she isnt in a location she cant use FV to see what will happen there unless she chooses to go there in the FV choice. So things like "why didnt she use FV to know this would happen" is usually because she wasnt there and not actively wondering what will happen if she goes there and she needs to have a dilemma to use FV on. The power doesn't make her omniscient, it lets her see the consequences of her actions before they happen in order to choose the best action.

This is why I had a hard time liking Steven Universe. The Crewniverse has been showed time & time again that they're bad at consistency, putting in artificial drama like you've showed us in this episode, & their world building is utterly shitfaced. Yes, there has been some good moments, but if you use your logic & common sense, then you would realize that the show is good in concept, but they failed in the execution when it comes to making good television like Avatar: Last Airbender. The show literally goes back & forth of being that & Cailou. Just pick a lane & stick with it

So, I recently re-watched Steven Universe, and I have a counter for your future vision argument. You always say Garnet should see all this coming, but here's the thing. There are so many reasons why they could have been there. The rubies could have come to attack them, arrest Peridot, or even stay and live on Earth. When they were waiting for Peridot, there was a chance she could have brought an army to invade Earth, or even the diamonds to launch another diamond blast. In Pool Hopping, Garnet says she keeps looking at the futures where Steven acts like a child, and not at the ones where he acts more maturely. This tells us that even though Garnet can SEE the future, it doesn't always mean she's going to know which future is the correct one. She has to use her own deductive reasoning to determine which future is going to happen. In situations where she doesn't have all the facts, it can be difficult to figure out what's right. She was expecting Peridot to come with an army, because to her that was the most likely thing to happen. She didn't know about the cluster, so the futures where Peri arrives with only one soldier would seem unlikely to her, and therefore she'd throw it out and continue looking. At least, that's how I interpreted it.

Oh, and another thing. About the giant Robenoid they were following, considering how many times Pearl kept saying "let's just destroy it", I imagine there were a bunch of futures where they did destroy it, and continued their rut of fighting it endlessly, which were probably clouding her future vision. They were all so desperate to stop and destroy it, that so many possible futures would open up where they destroyed it, so the one future where it leads them to Peri would have been like a needle in a haystack. Surrounded by so many other futures that it would be impossible to sort them all out.
