Haha, I bought and binge read all of the Keeper of the Lost Cities books in a month based on your early recommendations of them. I think that's the most pages I've ever read in such a short period, because most of those books are actual brick-sized weapons, I swear! But they're SO good! Glad to hear you've been loving them as well! Did you see she just announced book 8.5 coming out in November? It sounds really unique and interesting - I can't wait.

As an older fantasy reader I have favourites that are no longer at the forefront of the genre but are certainly worthy of notice. Raymond Feist's Magician books which begin the Riftwar series give The Name of the Wind (which I also love) a run for its money. Melanie Rawn's Sunrunner series which begins with The Dragon Prince. I will praise the Kushiel's Dart series (and subsequent books in the same world featuring some of the same characters) by Jacqueline Carey at the top of my lungs ever and always!! I understand the shiny, bright appeal of new authors and their books but these fantasy classics do so deserve to be read. Note: all are adult fantasy ... especially Jacqueline Carey's books. David Eddings Belgarian series also belongs here. I could go on and on ...

That is high praise for Riftwar! I just included that series in my 'series I want to start' video! The whole premise sounds like something I would love so I'm hoping to read it soon! One my best friend's favorite series is Kushiel! That series I've felt a bit less interested in (despite her nudging to get me to read it), but I do expect I will read it at some point!

I'm currently reading the The Winner's trilogy by Marie Rutkoski and it will most definitely hold a high spot on my top 10 series of all time. It's terrific.

I just picked up Name of the Wind and I am excited to read it! One of my favorites is the Mistborn Series,. It made me fall in love with Sanderson and pick up so many more of his books.

I’m so excited for this video!!!! I read Mistborn this year and absolutely LOVED it! Throne of Glass was my introduction to fantasy and it’s still one of my favorite series. Now that I’ve read more fantasy I can see some flaws in ToG, but I still enjoyed it so much and will be attached to the characters forever!!

I really should read the Peter and the Starcatcher series! It sounds delightful, and honestly right up my alley too. And I also still need to read Wundersmith, though I feel like I want to reread Nevermoor before diving into that, and completing the Arc of a Scythe series and the Shadow of the Fox series too. I’m currently reading A Gathering of Shadows, and kind of kicking myself for waiting so long! I’m really enjoying this sequel even more than the first and can’t wait to read book three too!

I've really enjoyed what I've read so far of ToG, but I never got around to finishing it. It's been too long now that I'm thinking of starting over on it this year. Otherwise, what's become one of my favorite all time series is The Rime Chronicles by Mindee Arnett. I love this duology so much!

Name of the Wind series is never going to be finished too bad I really like this I guess we can call it a duology. Omg can’t have a favourite series without mentioning Harry Potter it’s one of my favourite series. Mistborn awesome 😎 choice. Meh didn’t really care for Throne of Glass just read the first four then lost interest. Never read any Holly Black books I’m fussy when it comes to fae books with me it’s either hit or miss. Awesome video keep them coming.

Watch Inuyasha - It’s an anime that sounds just like Shadow Of The Fox! My favourite series of all time is the All Souls series by Deborah Harkness! I just LOVE the romance, characters, plot and history sooooooooo much! I also loved Scythe and TOG and COM but I’ve yet to continue with either of those series further, hopefully this year... I should be reading Mistborn in May!

I read Name of the Wind in December and fell in love soooo hard. I had no idea each book corresponds to the day he's telling his story! I also read Scythe in January and really liked it even though I was going in thinking I wouldn't lol. I read Nevermoor as well and enjoyed it except for the politics it threw in from our world, I personally just hate seeing our politics in books unless they're historical fiction. But I'll probably continue with the series since I already have book two! And I also loved Keeper of the lost Cities, I'm planning to read the second for middle grade march next month. My daughter and bf are saying it's great so I gave in

Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, His Dark Materials/Book of Dust (I know it's slightly cheating to put the two together but they're quite intertwined really lol), Chaos Walking, the Redwall books (I still own all 23 books in that), RJ Anderson's fairy stories (I always forget the series' specific name) and, although I've barely dented the 50-something books that make it up, the Horus Heresy series.
