@@Bubbabyte99 no he actually knew it would fail. The original version was alright but they couldn't use it after the princess died. The new version was rushed so they could have a ride. It originally had eisener in it instead of the agent but he asked to be removed since he knew it was bad

In this ride´s defense, it was never supposed to be like this. Originally, the ride would be about you, a Hollywood Superstar, being late to your premier, and the taxi trying to get you there as fast as possible and trying to avoid the poparazzi. Although the reason why the ride was changed because they were afraid people would associate it with the recent death of Princess Diana. Now I don´t think even having this idea come to plan could save this ride, but to not give it the slightest bit of leeway, even if a smidge, for to it´s development issue, is kind of unfair.

I had no idea the Monsters Inc ride used to be this disaster. This explains some of the oddities of Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!, but overall, the newer ride is amazing. I'm also glad they re-themed DCA because the old theme was lame, even for people visiting from out of state. The park has come a long way since opening and some days, I end up just going to DCA only and not Disneyland.

I couldn’t help but think that if this ride still existed they would have to update it every decade with Hollywood’s next generation of stars. Would be funny to go on it now and see Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, Tom Holland, Zendaya, etc.

Even at the time this opened, all of the "stars" were limited to people who were under contract to ABC, thus why it depicted such a random array of C-listers with the occasional big name.

It's too bad that Michael Eisner's favorite ride had it's negative reception and it's forced to be away in 2002. I really liked this ride, even though the puppet in the queue area and the video screen was kinda creepy, I love that they had California references and even celebrities that I know and love.

Every Disney attraction I've ever heard of, I've said "Oh what I wouldn't give to be able to go back in time and experience it first-hand before it closed." Not this one. This was just painful. Disney should be embarrassed they approved and then made this thing. Even if it was actually entertaining at all, there's so much in it that could get outdated quickly. I mean, I've heard of all those people, but most of them sure haven't done much lately - especially Joan Rivers! (bad joke) Also I can't figure out who the lady after Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas is. I half heard the name and it didn't sound familiar. She doesn't look familiar either.

The end result of a bad acid trip if it was written by Tim Heidecker and Eric Warheim and it was directed by the guy who made the Garbage Pail Kids movie. And the acid was distributed by Hippie Joel from Check it Out with Dr. Steve Brule. All it needs to make it more bizzarre is Eric Andre.
