He is primarily advocating consuming raw carrot throughout the day, to equal about 1 carrot total. The insoluble fiber in the carrot pulls zeno-estrogens/ excess estrogens from the body. He also advocates spinach, bell peppers, potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash and oranges. Along with unsweetened cranberry juice. I'm sure I've left out some of the veggies or fruits, but that's the gist. Each thing he advocates is for a very specific health reason and max digestibility. And he believes in bio individuality. If something doesn't agree with you, don't eat it. We all have to use commen sense.

but again ,, lets not assume that somebody who took PEDS and got really huge is an expert in nutritional biochemistry,,hes just trying to sell a book. With someone dropping dead every 40 secs in this country due to a cardiac event I think its irresponsible for him to encourage young kids to eat a diet high in saturated fat, hormone injected cattle and poultry all the while trying to say that this type of diet helped him achieve his size and strength when it wasin the most part due to the PEDs.

@@johnpymn9869 Well this comment didn't age well. Another "anti-saturated fat" individual who hasn't the slightest idea on the importance of cholesterol rich saturated fat food. Ask yourself this, what do you think you'd find fridges filled more with in an average American household where currently 70% of the children are obese? Taking into consideration what the current prices are between 1 and 2 (2 being obviously a lot cheaper than 1), the food guidelines, the food pyramid, and the push to eliminate red meat from people's diets? 1. Steaks, Roast Beef, Eggs, bacon, butter, fatty fish (little to no fruits and veggies), and water 2. Fruits, veggies, cereal, breads, oats, pasta, lean cuts of meats like chicken breast & white fish, and fruit juices Take a hard look at 1 and 2, which one do you think sits in most house-holds? Now about that 70% obese stat again..

@spencelifts64696 жыл бұрын
LJ certain studies may show animal cholesterol isnt good but unfortunately cholesterol is highly misunderstood and not always a good marker of health. Many other studies especially lately show that cholesterol is necessary for health, brain function and performance. The most ideal sources? Things like eggs and beef. What truly causes heart disease and all kinds of issues? Highly refined carbs, sugars and so on. If more people ate things like steak, butter, spinach, sweet potatoes and other whole foods and wild salmon whenever possible; people in general would be in a much better place. Obviously things like sausage and hot dogs or meats like bologna are not optimal, but just as not all carbs are created equal, not all meat is equal either. Another thing to remember is that the studies that demonize meat are not considering the rest of the subjects diets and the effects from those things as well as their lifestyles as a whole.
@landonp.40736 жыл бұрын
Spencer Clarkson You are on the right track but why not just eat all whole plant foods? Food is a package deal. Wild salmon does have omega 3 but also comes along with mercury and other industrial toxins passed through the oceanic food chain.
