It was an iron foundry an all the junk was different casting boxes to hold the sand molds. Dan's load was metal castings.

I am so glad to see i am not the only one to use a atlas and do not need a GPS . I even have wooden file card box where in the day when you called for directions i would make a file card . So i could reference tje client still use it today

Use both, Atlas for the big picture, planning, and GPS for driving.

I use to do the same thing, even directions frm the exit's. People today relies on too many items that have problems. I'm no longer trucking , did that for over 14 yrs and now on a boat. still will chart with paper along with the plot charter..

Watsatch Mountain range on your left at about 12:00+. I spent five years stationed there from 00 to 05. It’s a beautiful place. I agree that I 15 traffic is always bad

Smoke was terrible here in southern Minnesota yesterday. Used to make that run from I-70 south on I-15 into Vegas. Make sure and film through the gorge absolutely beautiful. Stay safe

We had quit a bit of that western US forest fire smoke here in North Carolina about 2 weeks ago and also I seen recently where some US airports are running low on fuel.

@@debrastarke3996 the worst time to enter or try to enter Chicago, from the west on I-80 is 8 am. you'll never make your "early" delivery. i once took US 30, from Joliet exit, pulling 40 tons of meat. that wasn't a good idea either. i didn't make may deliveries in Chicago, but i had to take a lot of roads around and thru it to other destinations. you're right, especially during rush hr, the roads are behind the times.

Trucker Josh TJV on KZbin having to drive through smoke from Forest Fires near Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada 🇨🇦 so thick visibility is barely 1/2 mile maximum, says it's on worst he's seen since teenager & hes now in 30's. Much more & might have to park it until fires are extigushed. 😷

Nice video Dan, I do wish you would have filmed some while delivering & driving around in Billings, MT, Williston, Minot, ND & deadheading to Butte area as you get up that way so little. Go back up that way when the smoke all clears away & when it cools down.
