Wrong. I do most of my maintenance. Not gonna spend hundreds of dollars on labor when I can do it myself. Thanks to the internet and a bit of common sense one can do pretty much anything short of needing specific diagnostic tools.

Hi Dan, See if they have a factory service manual for your APU, a parts manual and wiring schematic/diagram while you are there. Make it one of the conditions of sale! That way when it gets older you have some options to take care of it and troubleshoot it.

The Dorsey trailers in stock @ Superior, did not have the rear yellow strobe option as does yours.

The toolbox installation went great, those metal pieces mounted inside are called fish plates. With any luck APU center will do the right thing next and you’ll be back to making money instead of spending it, also need to mount the Dorsey mud flaps

You should put some mud flaps on the back end of the boxes so the tires don’t throw rocks against your boxes and dent them we had a problem like that where overtime it started to put holes in the boxes

A word of warning. Years ago (1984) I was working on a Liquid Oxygen tanker and had to do some drilling and grinding on the back deck of the trailer to install a pump. I had some aluminum shavings on my hands and clothing and In the process I got a small piece of aluminum in my eye. My eye swelled up and for about a month I had a terrible time wearing an eyepatch and not being able to see. The whole right side of my face reacted and swelled. It turns out that there is something in aluminum that the human eye cannot tolerate and can react viciously. So be careful around aluminum and wear appropriate safety equipment and don't let anything get in your eyes. Take it from me.
