Surprised that a total system cooling flush with a coolant type change didn't include a filter change which would have been full of green coolant?

You are supposed to lube the O Ring on the filter before installing. Use a few drops of whatever fluid the filter is cleaning.

Thank goodness they painted the head on your new engine. I bet the oil will still be clean when it gets changed. Mine was on a rebuilt 3406E when I changed it at 6k

They sell.that stuff in rolls for trucks and cars that has a sticky side that you can replace it with. Your paint is gonna pay for it if you dont put some thing back up there . I know you already know that . Just recommending that product. It is a heat and sound proofing product

Man my ISX just let go again. This is the third time in 3 years. Mechanic says its because its turned up. 2010 ISX 525 turned to 600. Has new block with the works, and just in December got a new head... Not happy right now. Luckily its still under warranty.. Good Luck with your truck.

The only precaution to take when breaking in the Engine. Do not lug it. Just keep the rev's up and let it spin.
