For those asking why do they clean the salt spray off the boat every 1-2 days : The salt buildup will stain and damage the gel coat if you let it sit there, the longer it sits the harder it is to remove (for staining) or repair (for gel coat damage) so, with very little else to do, you may as well clean it off.

You guys should get a bonus for cleaning. The seas look rough, but the ship seems to ignore the seas. Does it have stabalizers? I should think they would help keep the yachts safe.
@nonomnismoriar96013 жыл бұрын
Think Tristan said no stabilisers. Displacement and length of the ship keeps it stable - it basically ploughs through the wave as it is heavy and is many times longer than the waves. Tristan said they were expecting beam seas - waves coming from the side - which will cause some rocking side to side as the ship is narrower than the wave length. Will make it slightly uncomfortable but the ship will only turn into the waves if it gets really rough as they will burn much more fuel (and money) if they do.
