सर जी जब ई पी एफ पेंशन स्कीम जब लागू की गई थी तब पांच साल तक लगातार काम करने पर पेंशन की पात्रता हो जाती थी किंतु बाद में दस साल किया गया कई मजदूरों की तीस साल की सेवा को पांच छै साल की मानी गई उन्हे आज पांच से सात सौ तक पेंशन दी जा रही है।

Even though Supreme court has giver order ..EPFO office says they do not have fund to sustain this more than 3 months unless GOI funds them . GOI has no fund as all fund is allocated to "free" Electricity / water given to public by many states ...conclusion ..this is only a dream for private company employees ...updated as on 4 March 2020

Pension must be changed based on the contribution made by employee rather than last drawn salary. This order as it stands will deliver benefit to people who are retiring now and will be harmful to people who are going to retire in 10 years time. Removal is any cap is a good thing , but it must be based on contribution individual made towards his/her own pension. Few decades back , it was same situation in the UK. and companies came under lot of burden due to pension payments. Hope there is a proper review very soon.
