People and various u tube social media is confusing the pensioners. The higher pension which is stupid most decision by the trust. The government and people responsible for such decisions must be taken to task. When a person come out from the private firm, after paying all PF dues they do not respond to any sort of query from the retired people. It is also not possible for the private company to maintain all documents of payments. The EPS 95 staff also so unhelpful to the queries of this senior citizens. They forgot that they earn their livelihood from the contributions of these pensioners.

Eps 95. First of all the Supreme Court 4.11.22 has yet to be examined. Now govt will decide whether SC order is to be complied or not. Govt is prompt to comply such orders which are in their favour. The orders which are not as per their taste, are examined afresh again n again to find our some loopholes so as to delay the matter. Finally a very good opinion is given to file Spl petition or review petition or in case the decision is given by 3 judges, govt will appeal for review of matter by more than 3 judges..Great idea sir let the eps pensioners suffer, mental, financial,stress.

The Supreme Court has already given its judgement on EPS'95 Pensioners' Pension Revision appx. 2/3 years. ago. However, this anti-worker Govt. isn't implementing it & a contempt notice has also been issued by the Supreme Court. Hence, it now depends on the Central Govt.to honour the judgement of the Supreme Court. Perhaps agitation will be the only way for the EPS'95 Pensioners for their Revised Pension demands.

Pvt. Companies hardly allow to contribute their employees over 15000 so that the employers contribution also remains 15000. They never provide any option to their employees so that they can opt for higher pf deduction. The pf ceiling has to be removed in general for allowing everyone for this benefit. Moreover, after 2014, the employees are not allowed to be member of EPS and all their contribution goes to PF along with employers' contribution. The way you have discussed the judgement shows that it will again create two class of pensioners. One with the ceiling 15000 and the other over full pay. If this is what the meaning of judgement is then it is of no good. Those who are not allowed to contribute PF over 15000 will remain deprived. Thus, the order of SC must make EPFO to make the employers contribute12% on full wages for everybody.

Hi all I have been fighting with EPFO office for the last 3 years - have written mails, contested, sent grievances to EPFO and also to PM's office. All but to no avail. Firstly when I started, I first got all my previous pension Annexure K transferred which took over a year. I have put in 40 years of service and retired in 2017 October. But for Pension this date is October 2015 when I attained the age of 58 years. After successfully getting all the account transferred to Bandra EPFO office, I was given pension which was Rs 2487/-. On enquiring with various people was told this is the amount everyone gets and is normal. Not relenting - I asked for calculations and working which was given. Trying to understand the working I stumbled upon many issues (as time went on) and this is a fact that all pensioners will be facing. To start with 1. Prior to Nov 1995 called Family Pension Scheme - there was a certain working. Based on total years of working during this period there is a factor by which the eligible compensation (which is also fixed in a table) has to be multiplied to arrive at Past Service Benefit. Here invariably the multiplying factor is taken much lower and also without applying mind these EPFO people put compensation under the lower category. Result, you get lower eligible compensation multiplied by lower multiplying factor. Result, till 1995 Nov your past Pension amount is reduced. However this is not a big deal as in my case since I was in touch with the guy calculating, my factor was only 1 point reduced. However after going in detail, my pension was increased to Rs 2554/-. This is also incorrect. Post 1995 November - big issues I am still fighting. 1. Through RTI I got to know that pension is to be calculated as : Pensionable Salary x Pensionable Service / 70. Here Pensionable Salary is supposed to be average of last 60 months. Invariably these people are calculating basis last 20 years i.e. from 1995 to 2015. This reduces my average and thus my Pension. I have repeatedly repeatedly challenged and even openly contested the PF Commissioner to openly show me where is the notification stating that they should calculate the pension salary taking 20 or more years as the average whereas as per RTI information it should be only 60 months i.e. last 5 years. Repeated mails, letters, grievances are having no effect. I even wrote to secretary's at delhi, even lodged grievance at PMO's office who in turn just passed it on to EPFO office. And invariably epfo office revert and closes the grievance stating either replied (without replying) or sent to department for answer etc etc. All I am asking is - if there is a notification, show me. Else go by what I got through RTI from EPFO office only. Both they are not doing, which strengthens my belief that I am right. Basis my calculation I should get above Rs 8500/- instead of Rs 2557/- (in one more case they found error and increased by Rs 3/-). 2. In all their calculation they admitted they are dividing by 365 days but multiplying by 360 days i.e. 5 or 6 (leap year) days are lost. So over a period of 40 years you lose 200-210 days. And this reduces your compensation. 3. My last working month was October. Invariably the salary was received on 1st November and office had deposited the pension as usual in November. For some strange reason they did not consider this. Unfortunately the last firm I worked was exactly 60 months from November 2010 to October 2015. and prior to that I was in employment where there is no PF. Hence they were taking 59 months and last month they say we don't as you exit Pension at 58 years which is October. After lot of fighting I got them corrected and got Rs 3/- extra. This will be true to many people. 4. The period of Break where I had no PF - for some strange reason they are showing 10 days more but are not able to digest when I am showing it is less - showing them adding like January 31 days, February 28, March 31 etc. That is still unresolved. 5. I lodged my claim for pension on full salary and immediately l I was given letter to work out myself what I should get and submit the statement. But they should be having it. Why should I give. They have to let me know the amount (Kohli case). Hence I need support to move people to get the correct working, and the lodge the claim for full pension. Moving govt bureaucrats is herculean task. 3 years of struggling. Looking for support to help me close and then I will like to also take up for all people such issues. You can reach me at [e-mail]
