I had a chance to train with Kyle Lamb and Surefire's new Turbo series of lights. I learned a lot of tip and tricks that I will be sharing with my viewers in a night series of filming.

Soaked in every minute. A wealth of information. Now to apply this and train. Having had multiple random cars approach my driveway at night with tinted windows, I remember the fear of not knowing what's happening behind that tinted glass as you approach still haunts me. Personally, ill start carrying high candella torches

So glad you invested in the camera equipment and ask the other goodies you recently picked up. You video quality is rivaling the extremely large channels and small movie productions. Definitely made your content much more professional. Not that your butt the most professional KZbinr, but your video production wasn't. It is now!!!!

Thanks Bryan. I think the audio quality has really upped the bar for the channel. It seems many content creators decided to take the plunge and buy new equipment for recording this year. Rick, Kenny, and Elster just to name a few. Thanks for watching.

I like how you addressed the issue of the switch being really difficult to flip on and off. I also resorted to the thumb press method with the support hand. I got the x300 turbo last year and absolutely love the beam pattern and throw of the light.

Absolutely phenomenal video bro . Kyle is an awesome instructor . I took VTAC class about 10 years and holy rusted metal batman was it filled with information. I used SF for 12+ years . I still use SF for Pistol WML . I have the X300U I bought when they first came out . I for sure need to pick up the Turbo . That Candella is game changing. I was using SF 600 series for Carbine but ultimately switched to Cloud Owl and Rein Micro. I believe both of those Cloud lights are 60k Candella. The new Reins are 100k candella . Weltool make makes a pretty insane Candella WML that works with all SF bodies and lights . Its honestly the best choice if you are wanting to build out a light to your specs for Carbine . Either way bro thanks for sharing and what an awesome video . This is well worth watching . Hope you had an awesome holiday and happy new year

I really like that pressure switch that goes under the trigger guard on the handgun... I've never really liked having to use my support hand thumb because you have to break the grip you work so hard perfecting so I've always used my trigger finger and delt with with the negatives you talked about. Really good video can't wait on the carbine light video!!!
@joshuafreeman4459
@joshuafreeman4459 Жыл бұрын
Consider using your trigger finger. You can turn the light on while building your grip. Plus you’d have to use your trigger finger if you were using strong hand only. Consistency is cool
@DanielBoone337
@DanielBoone337 Жыл бұрын
@@joshuafreeman4459 that's what I said I do... I use my trigger finger turn the light on then kick it off with my trigger finger but it is true with surefire it's really easy to skip the off position and turn it back on. That said that's not an issue with streamlight all the way up is only momentary but I like surefire more so I've just delt with minor inconvenience.

Just a heads up I been using those DG switches for years now there is holster issues when you put those on I have ruined a couple switches because the holsters drag on the let’s call it heat shrink type material they use on the part that goes under the trigger Guard and peels it off and or some holsters like a safari land ones need to be modded to fit it. It’s holsters dependent so not all do this but just a heads up they are a great option.

3:05 re: a man should have on their person at all times is missing a multi-tool. So that makes 5. But further down my comment, I elaborate and consider two extra steps and make it 7. Cash is excellent because not every situation can take cards. A light can mean the difference between life-and-death in even daily things like crossing a street at night. A knife is used often enough in day-to-day task to carry. I agree 100% on handgun concealed carry in a responsible manner. A multi-tool is important because it is impractical to carry a huge tool-box everywhere, and is convenient to have high-frequency-use tools such as screwdrivers and pliers ready-to-go without running to a toolbox/vehicle. A less-lethal tool is also a good idea for situations that don't need deadly force, but need force to deter physical harm. For jurisdictions where firearm carry is illegal or extremely-restricted, less-lethal tools are better than no self-defense tools. For jurisdictions where all defensive tools are illegal, they just gotta be resourceful. An often-overlooked thing to carry is a small bleeding kit. An ambulance will almost certainly not arrive in the 2-5 minutes it can take for a profusely-bleeding patient to lose enough blood to no longer survive. If you take up the responsibility to carry a deadly-force tool in defense of yourself and others, you should also consider having the medical gear to help those you also wish to defend from threats. A full-on EMS bag is excessive to keep on your person at all times. At a minimum a pair of gloves, a GOOD tourniquet (see TCCC-recommended ones for candidates to buy) and packing gauze (hemostatic gauze is better but significantly more-costly) will suffice for a basic bleeding set meant to address life-threatening bleeding.
