Glenda. You are so smart and such a great teacher thank you for this informative video. I learned several new methods today. By the way, I love the new T-curve ruler. It is so handy and compact can keep one in my machine drawer and another at the cutting table that 90 degree angle is the neatest trick! I purchssed 2 of those rulers.

Excellent video. How do redesign it to remove shoulder pad? I have some vintage patterns that include shoulder pads. I'd like to remove that look. A video on that would be great. Thank you.

Carmen Salome - if you have our Dress Kit Instruction book, we have directions to ADD shoulder pads. So removing them from your pattern would be just the opposite. But you have to know how much the designer put into the shoulder seam for the pad. The pattern envelope should tell you what thickness of pad to purchase...that is the amount you'd remove from the shoulder point. Yes...a video on this topic is a great suggestion.

i have several men's shirts with vertical draglines from under arm to cap. If you increase the cap height it seems it will help with this, but doesnt higher cap equals less mobility? i work with mens working clothing so we need lots of mobility. Is there a way to remove these draglines without loosing mobility? thank you,

@jarroyomaranata - Actually, adding cap height gives MORE mobility to the sleeve - just the opposite of what you think. So, yes, add to the cap height.

Glenda - Im wanting to sign up - but the link to the pdf page is missing. SLEVES SEEM TO BE MY NEMESIS! So these sleeve ones are so vital and you predict all the problems ive had. Ive been sewing for so long, but historical fashions mostly- not modern, and their shapes are totally different.. So this is hard for me to nail right. But the page isnt working

@@surefitdesigns Glenda - thankyou so much and I truely love that you are genuinely dedicated to all your followers. Still wishing i can order the sure fit set -but the Australian dollar is always crap compared to the US, and i have a large collection of toiles now too. But they still would be SO useful and cut my patterning time down a lot. But thankyou for the update on that pdf.
