That "BELT" and fish net 02:36 WILL GET YOU HIT by a SHARK if you Wear it . If you are Wade Fishing on JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fl. USA.... I am Speaking from Personal Experience ....Trust ME. I no longer Wade Fish next to the Pier... I only surf fish in ankle deep water if that. after being hit by a 4.5ft black tip shark

The best place to throw lipless cranks is rocks ! We just bang them off the rocks and it gets the fish's attention!

Great to share. Do you have to cast far?
@tmc3p17 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the great video. I tried 1/2oz lure, but couldn't cast far enough. I doubt you would use it with a sinker. Any tip to cast far enough this kind of lure?
@melvinrubio22787 жыл бұрын
I had the same issue. would not cast far and wind would bring it back towards the shore.

I'm Going down the second week in November. Do you think it's too late to fish with a lure or should I use cut bait.

When buying the same lure on amazon, one says floating rattletrap and the other one just doesn’t say that which one should I go with
@texassportsoutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Get the one that sinks. You want it to dig along the bottom

Do you use a weight with these? Arent they too lite for the surf?
@nathanbutler82407 жыл бұрын
how are you working that lure? bumping it off the bottom? or let it sit on the bottom then jerk it? or walk the dog underwater?
@roryodonnell7 жыл бұрын
Why do you use 40lb leaders? I fish in surf in Ireland for seatrout using 9/15lb leaders and 12/16lb braid. You're braid looked like shimano super slick? Why do go so heavy with your lines. Thanks
@anthonyharris83904 жыл бұрын
Rory O Donnell Redfish can get up to 30-40 pounds, a shock leader like that is pretty normal for surf fishing. Most trout and slot reds won’t need a 40 lb leader but better to be ready if a big fish hits.

did you guys keep them fish out in the sun the whole time or did you guys do that just for the video?
@TheOpelkoenjas6 жыл бұрын
One can only hope that they were for consumption and immediately stored in a cold environment, hence out of the sun ASAP. If not, and those fish are only used to show off his ego on the internet on how much fish he can catch: then he deserves a giant foot deep in his ass. Period.
@tr26615 жыл бұрын
If he had left them out in the sun the pelicans and herons would have taken off with them. Please use a little common sense before making idiotic comments.

@idkk354138 жыл бұрын
great videos! How do you determine a place to fish in the surf?
@modernpawn8 жыл бұрын
Subject for another video, but it normally has to do with finding good bait concentration, plus timing (late summer is always good).
@hammerx64317 жыл бұрын
Why did u take forever for a new vid!!! Lol
@sociopathsrus9107 жыл бұрын
Are going to eat those fish that have been sitting in the sun without ice?
@modernpawn7 жыл бұрын
yes we eat what we keep. Those fish were caught in less than two hours, kept on a stringer in the water, and are still mostly alive. Came out of the water, shot a quick video, and then put then straight on ice. We already ate those, and they were just fine. Just for conversation sake, we catch alot of fish, and keep some, but we strive to be as ethical and conservation oriented as we can be. Nothing wrong with feeding your family with your own sweat. Thanks for watching.
