Thanks for making this video Adam! Glad you found the new pouch useful. And the baits! They’re such more durable and if losing both appendages doesn’t happen often.

DHF, Nice catch! You know, If you get one of those handheld electric start propane torch from Harbor Freight you can cook fish anytime and anyplace even on top of the log @18:02. Make sure you disconnect the propane bottle from the torch after use for safety. Sometimes by closing the valve there's still a flame at the tip.

Hey man I’ve has the same problem for about a month and half every time I go out I catch smelt. I’ve finally just started catching surf perch again not in high numbers but big enough to eat and that’s all I care about. I’ve fished the same beaches and finally caught some, just keep at it they’ll turn up. I use gulp sand worms and use the fish finder or Carolina, don’t forget to stay mobile. Tight lines

Do we really need a flap over opening to the perch pouch?Fish ain't going to leap out?! What if it was a clean opening just two magnetic snap and you can nudge open the middle of the pouch opening with the fish so it is a one hand operation rather than fighting the flap with Velcro.
@Hook2Cook5 ай бұрын
When I designed it, I thought about magnets but I realized sand can have iron deposits build up on the magnets. The Velcro is mainly to keep it flat and not just hang open.
@rontsang43085 ай бұрын
@@Hook2Cook thanks for the explanation. Most of the magnet that we would use in our fabric material product would be sandwiched between waterproof material so rusting shouldn't be an issue. And we've come across magnetic material that are in a flex roll (much like fridge magnets) that's flexible and would do that same as Velcro. There's no right or wrong way to do it, always good to have exchange of ideas so V3 could even be better!
@Hook2Cook5 ай бұрын
@@rontsang4308 it’s not really the rusting. It’s the abrasion over time. The Velcro will break in making it easier to open over time while still performing its duty. Quality and longevity has alway and will always be a priority. Thanks for taking the time to discuss
