How does these people have new cars and still go to the food bank 😂
@Shannonacrossamerica2 жыл бұрын
In my area, the food bank closes at 4pm and it isn’t open on the weekends or holidays. I work 7 am to 3 pm Mon-Fri and, after traveling from work, I wouldn’t get to the food bank until 3:45. If I needed the food bank, I’d never be able to use it.
@debbieframpton38572 жыл бұрын
You would still have time to get there we have one pantry on Wednesday that is 2:00 to 4:00 and a friend of mine gets off work at 3:30 and she makes it there by 3:45

It's pretty bad where I live. I left Safeway the other day, having carefully budgeting my family meals, spent over 300$ and wasn't even able to cover three days worth of meals. That's just for 3 people. Companies life Safeway are taking advantage. I get it, it's a buisness, capitalism and all of that but when it comes to food and medicine there has to be better cost regulation.

Not sure the ages of the people you are feeding or what you buy but $300 should be able to stretch it a week or more. Shop sales and look for markdown meat and other markdown food items this is what I've been doing for many years

@@chrisgreen1904 , Is there a different store available that you could shop at I don't know where you live. I live in Central Illinois I buy nothing but mark down meat at Kroger and other mark down food items been doing this for years. I don't have a Safeway in my area but that store seems pricey if you're only getting enough food for 3 days for that price. I'm not a big Walmart shopper but it seems like you could do better prices there. Have you ever considered going to a food pantry I have helped it one for many years they are very helpful

You have no idea how close you are to World War III. A lot is going wrong in America and the world. You are hopelessly in debt and stand in front of the soup kitchens with financed SUVs (consumption of 10 - 15l) and beg for food. But as long as the music is still playing on the Titanic, you live according to the motto "What does the world cost". In just a few weeks, many will fall deeply.

I raise cattle. Unless there is a health reason that would be an unusual event. I have never seen that. Extra milk can be frozen, fed to baby calves. Leftover milk products are put back into animal feeds.there is not a lot of waste on a farm

Look. People just don't want to buy the food at current prices. I wouldn't. It's insane. But dollar store items & cheap processed food like spam, i'm sure people are still buying them regularly. You can't be fat, & not afford to eat. Duh. Common sense.
@MayMay-qr1yc2 жыл бұрын
actually poor people can be fat because its not so much the amount they eat but what they're eating. junk food is more affordable than healthy food. eat all the time and that sugar/extra carbs makes you fat.
